I am in AZ as well. I Just picked up L236 Sws L046, and L183's ... 15 fish each.. The valley has no Plecos to choose from... Just dumpster fish for the cheap turnaround. I also breed Corydoras. The valley has a garbage selection of Corydoras as well. I have spent about $5,000 on fish in the past 6 months to prepare for an Exotic explosion here in the valley in about 6 more months. Every store chain will have access to my fish. This market will finally have exotic cory cats and plecos to choose from and not pathetic bristlenose albinos and chocolates. I am sick of stores only carrying dumpster fish for the quick and cheap turnaround.

@@AnthonyZiblis Ahh... well Im sure its likewise elsewhere as well. All these local fish stores... Non-chain... all have the same fish... seldomly have anything that deviates from the stuff that new fish keepers buy and eventually flush. I am just tired of no selections. Hope your operation is going well. We need to get these rare fish into the light more. You know?!

Its dean tweedles design. 20L with storage tubs from amazon, you drill holes in the back for bolts to support the rear and cut a slot with a dremel. fill that slot with foam to prevent fry from flowing out. use a small flow pump up to 1" pvc, drill holes and add valves as needed.

Love the refurb. I’m doing the same on a 15 year old half moon. Love your great tips too. The c02 dispenser is awesome. How often do you refill the soda bottle, and how long does the co2 canister last you? So cool that it’s waterproof! I’ve been keeping fish on & off all my life & never used it. I think I’ll give this a go! Thanks for sharing! ❤️🇦🇺

This bottle lasts a day when filled 3/4. The canisters fill it this much about 10-12 times before they get used up.

You should try focusing on outcrossing a specific strain, like black rams, gold white clouds, albino bristlenose plecos, etc. It would make for a good informational video on why outcrossing a strain with a wild phenotype, then breeding back selected fish from outcross spawn back to the original strain, is good for introducing genetic diversity back into a strain.

Ok I see you cycled your tank for about 4 wks b4 adding ur mantis. I new to the saltwater hobbie altogether. I’ve did endless reading on tanks and set up and learning about mantis shrimp. Just need pointers and help from someone that has one as well! I didn’t get the same brand as you (turbo start) but I got the Dr. Tim's Aquatics One and Only Saltwater to speed up the cycle. Do you recommend still waiting 4 weeks? Or just do Consistent water test? Also saying something about iodine is that only when the mantis is molting ? Could you touch on that topic please.
