PEDESTRIAN TV

PEDESTRIAN TV

Back in 2005, when Kim Kardashian was still best known for carrying Paris Hilton’s shopping bags, a world-first ‘Plastizine’ (DVD magazine, for the uninitiated) began cropping up all around Australia - it was called PEDESTRIAN.TV.

Since its ever-so-humble beginnings, Pedestrian Group has become a powerhouse in the Australian media landscape, taking home Media Brand Of The Year at the Mumbrella Awards for two consecutive years (2015 + 2016).

Our 24/7 home, PEDESTRIAN.TV, cops an average 7 million page views per month - plus the millions of young Aussies we reach every across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and our daily EDM. From news, entertainment, music, style, sport, health, dating, travel, money, tech, gaming and more, we touch on every aspect of our readers’ lives and interests.

    People talking that more young people should be hard working like Kaleb should also consider that we need to stop undermining them at every opportunity. The government needs to ask itself *WHY" young farmers vent their head with shotguns and not try to restrict their access to guns. People need to ask themselves why they pay 1.80£ for skimmed milk when farmers only get ~0.33£ for their raw milk. Climate activists need to ask their politicians why they think cows are dangerous for the environment, but gas power plants are green.

    Difference is, that you worked before sitting on that tractor and you'll work after. Being a farmer is a 24h commitment, you can't compare it to an office job.

    From Canada....love the show, Jeremy, Kaleb and Charlie are all great on it. One thing I have learned is far more respect for our farmers and total disgust with politicians who just make their lives so much more difficult with their inane rules and regulations. Farming is hard enough without all that crap.....best of luck to Clarksons farm in the future.

    When you see power crazy councillors that will stick a in the spokes of everything they can and that is not just for farming industry, no wonder the country is falling to pieces, it's time defra was abolished and let farmers do what they do best, this country is full of people with made up jobs.

    Seems like a nice person, only a little way into season 3, strikes me like he is resistant to change and out of his depth when science is introduced to the farm! None the less, his contribution to raising awareness of the challenges to farming as a whole should be celebrated.

  • @andrewbennett2044
    @andrewbennett20444 күн бұрын

    Well he was skeptical which makes sense a new never tried way of farming is going to be met with scrutiny but he eventually was impressed with the general idea (especially when they agreed to pay for the crops) Although his skepticism ended up being correct because the new way didn't work out. It might eventually but you have to understand with any farm you often times have 1-2 year periods to play around with your income. You mess up and end up in the Red too long and you're closing up and selling the property. So the guaranteed crop vs experimental may take a few seasons to get it right could be one too many seasons.

    Kaleb if it makes you feel better you're the practical one in the business relationship so it's your job to rein in or make his ideas work. Which is not a bad thing because it's okay to have someone take risk. Else you get stagnant.
