  I can definitely see some difference in quality in new set pieces vs the old ones, and I believe it has a lot to do with styles of pieces being introduced, especially in technic. I definitely get the fact why the prices went up however the company should understand that by making Lego sets pricier they’re opening the doors for competition and it’s what we see today. I’m more of a technic car builder, and companies like ca.da, mouldking, etc. are making pieces damn near identical, taking builder’s mocs and making a complex 1:8 car set that is 200 dollars in comparison to legos 499 dollar sets.

  As a kid i played alot with lego. I made "everything" and i loved it. Played football on a carpet. It was in eary 1980s. Grow up and got no kids, but my sister did. Every xmas her son got a lego set i had to build, and that was a great xmas for me. Im 52 years old now, and build Titanic, after 30 years of no Lego building. But, Lego is like drugs (but much better) u allways got back to old habbits. Therefore i have order 2 more sets from Lego for eastern building.

  The craziest part is you don't need all that hoopla. They try to make it seem like you need all that equipment. Tisk tisk. I've made exact replicas at 1/3 the cost. Same material, different process.

  Legos were always a favorite toy of mine. When I constructed a retaining wall on the drainage ditch when our street was worked on in 2017 I laid the concrete blocks just like you would Legos.

  Fragile parts! They break! “Cheeses” and brown parts often break. For such a price this is unacceptable!!! And stop packaging parts in cellophane, polluting the planet!
