Never ever give up. Try you hardest. If you don't succeed, you will always know you did your best. No-one will think less of you. And remember more often you will succeed, because you gave it your all, whether it's math, or anything else. Quitters never succeed, but those who never quit always come out ahead or succeed.

It would be nice not to refer to Orangutans as monkeys. They are not related at all. Orangutans are GREAT APES as are Gorillas, Chimpanzees and humans, none of which are monkeys.

I stopped watching this after 2 and a hal minutes. In that time, orangs were referred to as monkeys" at least 6 times. Orangs are Great APES, not monkeys. Monkeys have tails, although some macaques are tailless!

A new recruit to the code breaking effort the British had set up in WW2 was shown a desk and given a problem to read through. At lunch he handed on his work asking if there was something to solve in the afternoon too. The room was abuzz with excitement. With his background in Number Theory, he had smashed what so many others had given up on.

Anyone else recognize the professor at 2:10 and 3:10? Spoiler alert, it's not Jerzy Neyman. The man at the blackboard is John Forbes Nash Jr. And therein lies another remarkable story of a mathematical genius.

I think we learn failure. There have been specific instances where I’ve accomplished tasks that I was unaware at the time I shouldn’t have really been able to manage. After being told how and why my actions were so impressive I was never able to repeat the same high levels I’d initially done. If you want someone to do something don’t tell them to “try” to do it. Just simply instruct them to do it without giving any indication that the task may be beyond their ability.

Everyone here arguing over calling apes "monkeys." I was VERY certain that apes were not monkeys BUT if you google "Are apes monkeys?" you will find that it is not as cut and dried as you might think. Yep, it's being argued among various so called "experts" whether or not apes are monkeys.

I had a South American Redfoot Tortoise named Studebaker for almost 40 years. One year, during a really bad winter a black cat started hanging out in a basement window well. I started putting food and water out for her. One day she came in and made it clear I was going to be her human. I kept Studebaker in my kitchen. She was paper trained and hand fed. When Motor City Kitty first saw Studebaker she didn't know how to react. Over time they became best friends to the point where they slept together. Inter-species friendships can happen, all we need to do is keep out of the way and let it happen.

Orang-utans have hands, not paws. Paws belong to felines, otters, dogs, kangaroos, squirrels, opossums etc. Orang-utans are not of the monkey genus, they are a totally different genus.
