    Amazing video, but doesn’t the NSSA have the translators which translate type 5/7? And vice versa? Its based on RFC 3101 and 1587.

    Yes, they do. And once they do, they become an ASBR.

    Usually the other trainers speaks about the areas and lsa types and then shows what happens when you use them. Here you went from the design perspective of what we want to achieve and how to do that, which made the topic intuitive and easy to understand. You're a great teacher.

    I have a doubt, in NSSA we are blocking LSA4 and 5 and not injecting any default route to reach E1/E2 routes, then how the router in Area 3 will reach any of the external routes.

    valid question . backbone area or any standard area doesn't block type 4 and 5. Because these Area types are not stub by nature.
