  Some where on these comments for The Last Kingdom I left a comment. After watching a scene again, I want to retract my comment but I can't find it. So anyone if read it, I'm very said Athekflwd had to die. I was being selfish and I realize this now. She was a beautiful Princess Warrior. Her love for Uhtred was deep and true. .. and Him for her. My gosh I'm streaming tears I'm so sorry for the words I texted I know is just a Netflix but I've become fond of these Viking Dane scenarios. I Do wonder if she hadn't of had to wear that thing that locked her stuff up , if her health would of been better. I don't know what those things look or would if felt like. I'm sure cold and uncomfortable. To all the fans if Athealfled please forgive me.

  Skade is my favorite character in the entire series, a mysterious, interesting and evil character. Thea sofie loch naess did a great role in her portrayal. Regarding her curse, Uthred could have lifted it by marrying her and making her his wife, Brida said, but I'm afraid that will only remain in my dreams.
