im back on fl now but logic has by far the best stock sounds... the drums are amazing..
Yeah I agree. You can get a lot of really good music done in Logic just by using the stock sounds.
Loved this whole concept and execution, great work man. My only comment would be that I expected you to thin out the drums and push them further back in the mix, especially considering that the purpose of this is to act as an old school sample for building a beat. Other than that I thought your whole process was excellent

Up to the engineer bro. It’s not like pop or edm where it has to be 100% clean mix. In fact we need the imperfections to replicate how it was back then.

Before you SKIP AHEAD, this is an ACTUALLY GOOD BEAT AND TUTORIAL! 10/10 with minimal equipment. A lot of these videos either have a studio full of equipment they don't know how to use in the tutorial, or they make a completely horrible generic beat. This was beautiful. I have to watch it again.
