  Awesome layout and beautiful looking trains. I have my dads original setup NYC 2343-F3 A-B-A with the freight set. I forget the catalog # but its almost all original untouched and mint. He bought them new with his first real job down in the Bronx in 1952. Growing up we only ever got to see them under the Christmas tree and they'd go right back in their boxes. Now mine, these hold a special place in my heart and are something that I can never part with. Thankfully I have a son who's going to inherit them and the dozens upon dozens of other Lionel Trains I've been acquiring over the years, mainly steamers and any one year only productions into the early postwar. The later postwar I try to avoid as their quality was beginning to take a header unfortunately. But love to see anything Lionel A/F or Marx running on a nice layout and mainline.

  1:17 either the last of the Nephilim is a watchman on the Pennsy RR, or Lionel does not care about scale. The guy is taller than the locomotive . Either the real "Back To The Future'' car is a Prius... Just Jokes! What an amazing layout.

  This was still a good and affordable set. The sets they make now are lionchief garbage with a remote and expensive. If you want something decent you have to go lionchief plus which is even more expensive
