Hi. I'm in the process of starting a podcast but I need some help I'm on a meager budget I'm Fixed income on a minimal budget. My problem is I'm looking for a good interface that supports two different types of mics. I'm using an XLR Microphone And my cohost is using a USB microphone. So I need to know what kind of interface would I need to support those two different types of microphones. Please help.

I just started using riverside a week ago. I'm loving it so far. I'm Just getting into podcasting and happened upon riverside f.m I'm running rode procasters, a mackie pro12fx mixer, all xlr, usb going to my HP. Gotta get a capture card, but I'm running a Canon rebel T6, maybe someday I'll step up my camera.

Oh. I haven’t used that mic. If you’re not happy with it see if you can use compression and EQ to fix it in post.

The other speaker when the mics where on sounded a tiny bit robotic but I'll chalk that up as him just being quiet and the software had to do a lot of heavy lifting to isolate his speech over the background. But honestly for such small audio devices they did wonders at making your pax east video sound super crisp. I was honestly wondering if it was just not a lot of talking going on in the background when you where recording haha.

Another part of that is that I'm brand new to davinci resolve, and this was a different workflow than I'm used to. But I'm starting to understand it more.

Oh, the PAX video I edited in Final Cut where I know better how to use the tools, but I'm switching to Resolve so I'm learning new ways to accomplish the tasks,

Yeah. Recorded my screen using Ecamm live. And I’m having trouble getting that software to have everything in sync. I don’t have this issue in riverside though.

I am just a Podcast Consumer and general IT Guy, never had any ambition to produce something like this, but your Video gave me a lot of Ideas just for everyday Video-Conference use. Please keep up with these more technically orientated Stuff, you have a great talent when explaining complex setups that only comes with experience and years (no insult, I also rock a grey beard 😊)

None of you guys mentioned lights. That's weird cause on top of a decent mic, cheaper camera bodies and lenses can be a useful first investment providing you have good lighting. Photography is after all capturing light...

As a guy in my mid 30's who wanted to get involved in content creation and in particular podcasting I've had a lot of self doubt about if it's the 'young mans game' or if I have the skills to be able to make, produce and edit content but things like this, and the other videos on your channel.
