This channel is full of my family's memories. From birthdays to holidays to other events, they are so cherished! I hope my family cherishes these things the same and enjoys looking back on these videos. We get to see what life once was, we get to see once again our loved ones who may not be here any longer, and in a way, we have this incredible opportunity to "relive" these memories. It's special.
Should you stumble upon this channel, I hope you can find that same feeling that I have always had my entire life. It's truly a beautiful thing. I highly recommend you do the same for your family. It's not too late :)

@@cuddster59 Me to and thanks again I really respect the concept of keeping memories alive. That is a really sentimental thing for me that ive been trying to do with my family but in a world of digital everything its so much easier to lose or erase things. I just need to get a 10tb cold mechanical hdd thats never touched for my backups that way my kids and their kids remember the family legacy unlike my family before me which I have virtually no documentation about.
@@n0viewers409 I think that is a really beautiful thing you wish to do. We both know how proud you'll be of yourself that you finally are able to accomplish that. My family has recorded videos since the 70's up until 2015. I always had a love for memories and cherishing them, but also reliving them. It's a chance to see those who may no longer be with us anymore, to laugh with them, or to hear their laughs. It's a chance to enjoy the moments once more, and forever after. :) I bought my Canon Vixia HF R800 and I love it! It was perfect for the mere capture of said memories. I started recording in 2019. Holidays mainly, but recently birthdays and sports. The old tapes I restored are all on my computer as well as my backup drive, which is a Seagate 1TB. However, with me recording in this day & age, one video takes up TONSSSS more space than those tapes you see on my channel. I'd have uploaded current videos if they weren't so recent (it would feel awkward, LOL!). I took the chance and bought a Western Digital MyBook and I LOVE IT! It's got around 10TB capacity on it or something like that. Hope you're able to find something that works best for you!! Again, best of luck. You'll be happy you did it, and so will your family for YEARS to come. Even if some don't want to be recorded now, trust me, they'll be happy you did it! I see people online all the time, criticizing people using camcorders, but this is how we keep memories alive forever. ☀
