Wow this is amazing
The only rendition of the Dixie on KZread with lyrics. wth
Lovely!
Always and FOREVER, my favorite arrangement and favorite performance.. *almost.* it was PERFECT. Just MOVE a little.
Wonderful performance of an equally wonderful piece. ❤
Absolutely disgusting that you'd perform the default Confederate anthem at all, even worse you'd do it under the image of Jesus. Please reflect on this.
My Great great great grand father fought for the confederacy he was a Christian and after the war he built the first church of Christ in walker county Alabama.
Bravo, Brady and SLVA - beautiful performance! Glad I was pointed to this composition nd your performance of this composition.
I love this!
First exposed to these last year ( sang with the caroling ensemble Joyous Voices which is where we got our name from the 1st carol. How did I not hear anything of Burt's in my first 70 years? His carols are slight, breezy and wistful and above all worth doing!
Tight! I love that piece and this performance!
Missing the aye yai yippie refrain
Very nice. Director needs to tone down his movements a bit, I think. Those work well during rehearsal, but are a bit much for a concert. Just my two cents. But the sound of the choir was exquisite. Nicely done.
Needs? I think Dr. Allred’s world acclaimed reputation speaks for itself. I get that is the preference for some directors but to say that he NEEDS TO TONE IT DOWN is very pretentious of you. Conducting is personal and vulnerable, and whatever helps one best communicate what they want to hear from their ensemble is best practice. Thank you for saying that is your opinion. I personally am also working on minimizing my own gestures, so that is good advice for a student, but to critique a professional seems a little arrogant. Just my opinion 😉
Great performance. Can you tell me what edition is this arrangement? Thank you!
A marvellous, inspiring song.
I have the same exact song for my next concert. Same words, different notes.
WORLD CLASS PERFORMANCE. . . . BRILLIANT!!
The “ White” National Anthem . Now this is what they should sing at the Super Bowl ; Owners , Lineman , White line rows , Black males beating each others brains out for the entertainment of primarily White fans. The perfect plantation metaphor.😂😅😮
just a wonderful piece of music I performed years ago both with my school choir and with my church choir....doing it at church tomorrow in honor of a deceased long-time choir member who passed recently....thank you Mr. Gawthrop/Ms. Griner
I think that is one of the most beautiful renditions of that song that I have ever heard! Technically, perfect! But the emotion that it brought out was stunning❤. Thank you so much for putting this out for the world to hear.
I will always regret that Julie Andrews never recorded this carol.
A wonderful piece of music, like a dream. 🎵🎶 It sounds like freedom between the stars, like weightless flying....🦅 And the singers are perfect! Listening to it is a pleasure for a musician like me! Thank you for sharing! ❤
einfach hinreissend!
The pianist absolutely killed it on this piece!
Donald Fraser's magnum opus.
This was really beautiful!! Thank you!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Dixie for ever
I loved this arrangement.

It was an amazing experience to sing it! Thanks, Spencer, for your incredible gift! ❤
Wow, Spencer!! It is gorgeous! What a wonderful gift you've given with this thoughtful, resplendent arrangement! Kudos to SLVA to bring this to life and deliver such a moving performance!
So great!!
This arrangement is so good. You're super talented. Keep it up!
Please let us know if this arrangement is published. If so, who is the publisher? Hinshaw publishes Mr. Hayes' original arrangement of this song. I would like to program this with our community choir this spring (2024). Thank you.
Underrated song.
Half of the views are mine😂 am I only one to be enchanted by the jewellery on pianist hands?
SOLOIST IS AMAZING!!! DO IT AGAIN. . . .BRAVO!!!!
beautiful but ever so slightly too slow
This is nice!
Dixie is a very beautiful beautiful song and this from a Michigander. The south of the US represents the best of America these days.
Beautiful!!! Brought tears to my eyes. Long live Dixie ❤️
Beautiful arrangement and performance.

Bravo! Thank you!
Boş müzik hocasının verdiği şarkının bu kadar mukemmel olacağını duşünmezdim.
