As a drone and photography enthusiast, I like to take videos and pictures of just about anything, but find that I'm not sharing much of it; well, now I plan to post as much of it as I can on this channel. I also would like to help those that need advice in setting up their drone platforms the way I have. I'm also in the military and plan to eventually post some military related videos that I take, share some advice or answer questions regarding military topics. I would also like to know what the viewer interests are, so please feel free to ask any questions or make requests for what to post in the future. Please take note, I plan to keep this channel "G" rated as I want it to be a family channel for all ages.

Nice install, very clean and professional. It will come in handy I’m sure.
Does it need to be grounded?
Thank you for this
Love the mat!
What have you run with that inverter sir? Can you power a window ac?
I have individually run a microwave, coffee maker, window ac and several power tools
@@JPG23 wowwwww but with the automobile running right?
@@LEONDELASIERRA1 yes, at the moment the engine has to be running, but I plan on putting a backup battery with an isolator
Thanks a lot sir
Excellent instructions. Thank you.
And how would you wire it up if you had a key start with the rotary key
You'd have to view the schematic to find the circuits to interrupt with the relays
There is someone selling this on CL for $100. I wonder if it's a good deal.
Yes, it's a good deal if it works
Would the seat fit the ozone 500 mountain bike? I got that for my birthday and looking to get a more comfortable seat. New to bikes in general!
Yes, the seat post is universal
@@JPG23 awesome thank you for the reply!
both llama 380's i've had weren't 100% reliable. i have a minimax 2 that so far has been and i will carry occassionally. my cheap bersa thunder is a reliable 380, along with my astra, but the only 380 i carry is my lcp2, which is truly a pocket pistol.
how does it shoot?

One of the best videos out there of setting this up. I have the same exact generator I bought from Harbor freight open box for $225 in 2019. We were lucky during the 2021 freeze here in Texas; we were on a critical circuit that they did not shut off. We have since moved to out to the country with this same setup where power outages are more common. I am able to power our 1 HP water well with this with room to spare. We shut off the breakers for our 5 ton AC unit and water heater. Everything else stays on. In the summer we have a couple small window units to cool a couple of rooms. In the winter, we have a wood stove. I have 50 gallons of gas on standby plus fuel from the farm trucks should we need it. It is essential that we keep our freezers running during an extended power outage to prevent thousands of dollars in food from spoiling. I may try to make a video one day of our setup. Thanks for taking your time to make this.
Hello, I love the 'unique' upgrade, my word. it's great! I wonder who can do it for me in my beloved country South Africa. It's really nice to remote start like that but how long did it take you to workout? Wow!
Thank you for watching and for your comment. It was a process of examining the schematics for my particular generator and finding the circuits that needed to be intervened by the arduino. It was initially a meticulous process, but quite simple to put into practice. Best of luck
So this is part II really since I dont know the Arduino so why not start with I and then make this #II?

Very nice very clean ill definitely want one for camping ❤
Thanks for explaining if you drilled the holes or not! And how. Now I can do it!
This harbor freight generator is definitely a good buy...I got mine in 2018 for 600 bucks and it has been a champ
What can I use for 110 plugs in the truck bed
Hello, in terms of strength and quality, Colt Lama or Colt Star is better
What voltage and amperage battery are you using for the electric start?
I do not have that information off hand, but it is the recommended battery per the user's manual. I will look for the link
Here's a link to the recommended battery for the Predator 8750 Mighty Max Battery YTX9-BS Battery Replacement for PTX9BS Predator Generator (8750 watt) a.co/d/haby2t7
Looking at doing this set up, was told i should run 50 amp wiring and get an adapter to connect to 30 amp generator plug. Thoughts?
We have used the kzread.infoUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Nice. I’m going to also add a 2nd battery in the engine compartment on the driver side with an isolator switch
JPG23, WHAT IS BRAND & MODEL # OF THE CABINET?
good review
Thanks for the idea! kzread.inforjSl3Qaj9Rw kzread.infoR-sXN3EoAp8 I used Visuino for the programing , and with my setup i can still use the manual switch for staring if i want to.
Is the light hooked to the generator 12 volt battery?
No, it has a separate battery pack, you can see it at 2:01
I kinda did the same thing, only difference was i put my fan blowing cool air across the motor. The fan is blowing on the pull strings area. The fly wheel is all so a coll I ng fan that blowes the same way
In which year you use this fsi6s transmiter any problem in your transmiter screen or switches please tell me
Great job man 👍
I just want to run my central air (not window unit) and one fridge. I can do it on the Predator 9500. Can I still do that one this one??
What size ac unit?
@@JPG23 I’ll have to double check but I’ll definitely post here when I find out! Thank you
BEST GENERATOR VIDEO EVER!! Thank you from my son and I 💞
Can you put up your earlier video of your generator with the gecko visitor? My autistic son is heartbroken
I've just made it public again, enjoy watching with your son
God Bless you! Thank you so much! Gas powered equipment are his favorites!
I really miss your generator video with the gecko visitor. So does my autistic son
I was going to edit a part that was flagged, but I will make it available asap for you and your son. Enjoy
Thank you so much! ❤
when put it back together on my pistol there is a lop what do i do with it
Dumb question 🙋🏽♂️ Does it need to be grounded. ?
Not a dumb question at all. Since it's bolted directly onto the body it is grounded; however, if you look closely at 4:38 between the battery power posts you can see a small jumper. That jumper is attached to 2 mounting points that were ground down to expose metal, thus making it a grounding point.
Great idea! One thing to be careful of is that there is no sensing of engine condition at all. The use of a single loop that runs through the starter and choke engagement every time it gets power and the the long delay for runtime is functional, but not robust. If the wireless switch blinks, even for a moment while it is running, it is going to run the startup sequence all over again with the engine still running. Also, this depends on the engine being VERY repeatable in the start timing. As it ages, fuel changes, hot or cold, the timing of an engine start could change without the code being able to compensate. A big upgrade would be to put a hall sensor in the flywheel housing that detects engine RPM as the flywheel magnet passes by. Or a wire looped around the spark plug wire to act as an antenna would do the job without having to take the flywheel housing off. Something like this would work, just omit the LEDs for the timing light: www.instructables.com/Timing-Light-and-Tachometer-With-Arduino/ Write an interrupt function for RPM sensing and if (engineRPM > 2000 RPM) { engineRunning=true; }. Set a time flag when the engine run speed condition is reached, disengage the starter, and you're golden. Check for engine running each time through the loop and if not, set engineRunning=false. If you want to go further, you can check to see if a run is commanded but engineRunning==false, initiate a start sequence after waiting 10 secs or so. Instead of putting the start sequence in the loop that runs continuously, build a void coldStart and a void hotStart function with while loops that crank for, say, 10 seconds looking for the RPM to jump before stopping cranking or timing out to let the starter cool. The coldStart would have choke, the hotStart would not use choke unless it failed to start, then try a coldStart once more before timing out and throwing an error LED and/or alarm. A DS18B20 clamped to a lower part of the crankcase could sense if the engine was warm or cold and make a decision on which start sequence to attempt first. If you are running on propane or NG, put an electric prime solenoid in the fuel circuit and have the start sequence engage the prime solenoid until engineRunning==true. Also, the use of an ESP8266 or ESp32 dev board would give wifi monitoring and control. Just a couple ideas. Great start to the project!
Why is the series on the tube different from the body series?
It was likely repaired in the past before I acquired it as it was assembled incorrectly when I first took it apart.
I like your methodology, well explained and executed. I think some concerns are over sensitive electronics and possible damage to them. Have you had any issues with your use of them with your generator?
Thank you. No issues but I also have surge protectors on my sensitive electronics.

Todo está bien pero quién le dijo que es con sus papelitos que no juegue taché por eso 😢
i got the same shield but when i tilt the board it starts buzzing, like the relay's magnet isn't getting enough power to stay closed.
Wow, that's strange, mine has held up since the start and still runs well without issue. I'd send it back for replacement
@@JPG23 and the weird thing is it starts doing that when ever i so much as get my finger near the relay pins and pin 2, like their picking up interference from something.
@@cyberstar251 is your input voltage within range?
@@JPG23 yeah, im using a pretty long usb cable that's shielded, but that's not it, it seems to be between pins 7 and 2 on the digital pins, but im starting to think i just made the code wrong.
@@cyberstar251 I'm away from my computer right now, but as soon as I can I will send you an updated copy of the code for you to try. I still recommend replacing the shield if the relay issues continue with the new code.

Can you use a regular car battery for a generator and what other kinds of batteries you can use for a generator ?
Short answer, yes. Using a car battery to start a generator is like using pitcher to drink a glass of water. The car battery has way more cracking amps than the generator will ever need, but it won't hurt it. The main reason for the brand-specific batteries is so that it will fit in the spot intended for the battery, aside from that, as long as it's a 12V battery with the minimum required CCA, then it's good to go.
@@JPG23 It's you-tube videos that shows how you can use a car as a generator.Can a 1000cc car battery with a 1,000w power inverter power a electric oven that's 800w or even a 800cc car battery ?
What kinds of oil it use ? Where do you put the oil in at ? Is it better to use ethanol free gas ? How to connect the battery ?
