That's not how boxing scoring works. Barbarians. Even you punch thousand of times if you only have 10 landed punchsles vs your opponent with 10 punches with 5 landed. Your opponent still win that round.

I thought, Mayweather won. Now, a decade later, after watching the original fight and this analysis, I must admit I was wrong. Manny won. He won clearly.

I like Mayweather, boxing isn't a sport of "who's a better fighter" it's a a combination of a fight and also the excitement viewers get from acting. Pacquiao may have hit him more, but Mayweather made it look like he missed, he made it looked like it didn't hurt, thatcoupled with professional boxiing skills/training made Mayweather LOOK like the winner. Yu ever wonder why watching the Rocky movies felt like an actual fight? Even though it was all acting?

Most boxers try to act and look tough, scary and cool. Usyk is a good guy, friendly, fun and very feel but he is also very very tough and this makes him very scary and cool.

Pitbull is a tough fighter... his wins over Ryan and Barios would have been better wins if they weren't weight drained, but they're still good wins... If he beats Frank Martin which I expect him to, that will be his best win in his resume... Frank Martin's a top 5 lightweight today

The problem with it all is a judge can be anyone, and they've got to count punches per RDS in real time, per punch over a split second, usually, just like a jury on a court trial, one of them says "i think this guy is the winner" The others probably mostly clueless about the actual numbers, just probably nod their heads and think to themselves "fuk it, just go along with the other guy". Personally I think it was a close fight, but especially for these close fights,an actual computer should be used to count per punch, thrown, landed and aggression and ring control. It's very easy to fix fights because for that very reason of consensus, you just need to have the commentators and the strong willed judge onside ,to guide the fans down the garden path.

Made him wait 6 yrs and PAC still outboxed his ass with 1 arm. That fight ages better and better for PAC. Besides being an elite offensive fighter, this fight showed just how great PAC's defense and counterpunching ability really is.

  • @jordanjoepetts

Unbelievable how many boxing fans can’t distinguish between aggression and effective aggression. Manny got competently outboxed and you just need to understand how boxing works to know that. 8-4 Mayweather or 7-5 giving Pac Man every possible leeway.

Sorry but totally disagree ... Boxing is hit and don't get hit,, defense is as big as offence ,, Pacquiao who I love btw,, was hitting thin air and Floyd was landing the right all night long. You can throw a 1000 punches if only one lands ,,,not much good is it if the other fighter throws 5 and lands 3
