Hi mate, thanks for getting a video of my Corsa C on the auto solo, kind words, if there’s anyway I can get the clip for myself , id appreciate it
Hi glad you like it, sadly the original footage has been deleted, so this is all I have now. Where are you based? I could always do a little feature on it?
Where was this?
Sywell aerodrome
We used to have such nice cars!
@@BauregardSenior87 sure did!
Nice video Dan! Gosh, sleeping in the Nova Van must have been interesting for that person!
@@zoeashton4297 thanks, it's definitely not for me 😂
Me and my mate on the track, good fun👌🏼 I hit a few cones in the civic😂
Sounds good and you did well! Seemed to handle nicely!
Reminds me of the pvs days back in the day Dan
Yeah, we had beer or two in the evening, that definitely reminded me of PVS!
@DanielBall pvs beers and bbq talking cars til late. Was good back then mate. We all had novas.
@@leonread8651 sure was ☺️
Great video of Vauxhalls on show it’s a rare treat to see not many do them on KZread. 😊
Thank you, glad you liked it ☺️
Great video mate keep them coming 👍
Thank you, will do!
Thanks for the kind words mate, really appreciate all the help you've given me. 😊
No worries at all, as I said, both stunning cars, you're both proper gents too!
Brilliant video Dan! Thanks for the lovely comments of mine and my brother Luke's Corsa Bs. It means so much to us! Great to meet your mate Cookie too, top lads! 🤝🏻👊🏼
No worries at all, I meant every bit. Thanks once again. I hope to see you both around soon!
Actually i see you drive in Saturday morning.
🙂
I’ll be there next year if I fix my shitb*x (or buy something that actually works 🤣)
Wicked video mate
Thank you 🙂
Good craic over the weekend lads, it was my black corsa b LET.
Yeah it was epic, looking forward to next year!
Fantastic video mate! Great to be a part of it
Thank you, appreciate your support in making it. You smashed it 👊🏻
Shame about that old white taxi in the middle😂😂😂
Which one are you referring too? Haha
@DanielBall Vaughans vectra lol Bit if an ongoing joke I know he will see the comment haha
Haha, I didn't know if you meant the Grandland X or whatever it was called on the cover photo 😬
@DanielBall lol I didn't see that. Good place for different stuff. Might see about a trip down next year
Yeah it's a great place, there were tonnes of cars I didn't film too.
Great video 🎉
Thank you 🙂
Can you make me a 2 piece bracket please?
Sorry I am not in the position at the moment
Another brilliant video Daniel!!
Thank you 😊
Wow awesome stuff mate. Those impressions were class too 😁. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this.
Thanks mate, appreciate it. It's all in hand, just taking it's time 😊
I remember doing this back in the 90's for my brother. Mk1 dashboard out and a mk2 dashboard in. I always said never again and I never did. None of the wire colours or connectors matched up. No youtube vids or tutorials back then. Only a multimeter and educated guesses. lol
The wires are the same colour, just some of the plugs are different. I have done it a couple of times now
Following this one! Going to be a lovely machine
Thank you 😊
So impressed, I've watched twice so far 👍🏻 Looking forward to the next installment.
Thank you so much ☺️
Had a Nova SR for my first car so have a soft spot for these. Looking forward to seeing the updates
I think a lot of people did back in the day. My first Nova was an SX. A very common car once upon a time. Thank you.
@@DanielBall How about using a Frontera rear axel converted to IRS... ??
@kylereese4822 there solid, have drums, the wrong stuff pattern, the wrong ratio. Nothing like, and too wide obviously.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with it mate, can't wait for you to share the 💩 out of me
Been waiting for this one mate! Amazing progress so far! Can’t wait for the next one! 💪🏻
Cheers pal 😀
Yep you're right......we all love an Evo, just buy one 🤣🤣🤣
I would rather have an R8 😉
Love this! Have a Calibra Turbo myself which I'm also aiming at around 400bhp when done, don't have to go mental. Gonna go with a locked tbx here as well :)
Thank you, I always wanted a calibra turbo back in the day. Still yet to have one on the road.
@@DanielBall They are sweet cars! Have blasted mine around Europe and the Nurburgring as well as up in the north of Norway and Sweden...it's a sweet GT car 😎👌
@@DanielBall Your Nova is gonna rock though! 😎👌
@Calibran sounds awesome! 😎
I loved my Nova - a 1.2 'Star' 🙂 Can't wait to see more progress on yours 👍
☺️
Great one mate I’m doing mine
4x4ing it?
@@DanielBall oh yes want to use the 4x4 f20 box got everything but the front transfer box
Sadly they are pretty rare now!
Looking forward to this series, such a knowledgeable guy.
Thank you, really appreciate your kind words.
@@DanielBall Been a Vauxhall nut forever and this channel right up my street! Would love to see the finished article when you’re done
@@mikeprice8500 it will definitely be out and about at a few shows once done. And I am hoping it will do a few runs at Santa pod too. 😊
@@DanielBall one thing I didn’t get to do with my Corsa B Turbo was run up pod. Was 300bhp at the wheels and was a weapon and total Vauxhall cover car
@mikeprice8500 that's a shame you never did it, they feel so quick there if you can get them to grip off the line. Mine with slicks hooked up so well!
ive got a mk2 astra gte running a fully forged 20xej with a stock Evo 9 80 series turbo good for 400+ bhp. cheap option for turbocharging a "redtop"
Sounds awesome that 😀
Exciting times ahead!
Definitely 😀
This Nova is amazing as it is, going to be an absolute animal when you are finished 😂 hopefully see some 4x4 drifts when its completed 😂 amazing work as always 👌😎
Thank you, don't worry, it's going to be driven properly once done. It will look nice, but I won't be scared of getting it dirty!
Nice work mate. I enjoy your videos lots of detail without all the b.s 👌
Thank you, I really appreciate it
Loving your work, Dan. I like the idea of keeping it within the standard Nova track width, and I like how you've modified the suspension arms to make them narrower 👍 your giving me silly ideas involving a certain diesel powered Nova 😆
Thanks Sam, appreciate it. 4x4 diesel would be awesome 😎
Loving it mate. Can’t wait for the next video. It’s given me the enthusiasm to crack on with mine again.
Thank you so much. These comments give me the enthusiasm to carry on 😀
Class mate, also I like how you explain and in depth you go 👍
Thank you so much, appreciate the feedback!
Been waiting on this one, great project. Really like that it's being kept all Vauxhall and keeping standard width. Can't wait for more. 👍
Thank you so much 😊🙏🏻
Have to say you make it look easy.. some great fab work there loving it . Looking forward to your next video
Thank you so much
Such an underrated channel. Impressive project mate. Envious of your skills. I would subscribe but I already do! My first car was a Nova Mistral. Loved that car. Had it 3 years and cost me nothing in repairs.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your kind words.
NICE ONE MATE ! CANT WAIT FOR THIS BE GOOD
Thank you mate 😊
Good on you mate I’m fully on board with this looking forward to seeing the progress 😎
Cheers pal 😊
This is awesome , quality video mate ,
Thanks mate 😊
You mentioned a carbon roof. What are you thinking of using as the template? I have a brand new GM (not a copy) roof skin non sunroof I’ve had probably 15yrs at mum & dad’s house. If you need to borrow I’m sure we can sort something.
Thank you, this is very kind of you but I have a second hand skin I am going to use. 😊
All over this build! Yes the standard Vauxhall 4x4 system isn't the greatest, but as you've said the main issue is the TXB. I had a GSI2000 with a LET conversion running around 280 and it was totally fine once I got a Mike Hayward kit and that included plenty of hard launches. Also got a genuine Cav Turbo now running mostly standard power on the original setup but if it does fail I'll just go down the locked box route again. They aint as bad as people made out through the years. Looking forward to the progress videos Dan.
Thank you, I am liking the positive feedback on the 4x4 system. 😊
I shall keep my eye on this 👍
Thank you 😊
Mate this is going brilliant looking forward to this
Thank you 😊
Cracking project Dan looking forward to more 🛠️🛠️😊
Thank you, looking forward to making more 😊
