This Channel is about the different tasks we do on the farm, and the equipment we use to do them with.
I do custom work for the public to help with equipment cost for the farm.
Along with, A recent expansion of the farm with an additional land purchase, and the startup of a new Hay Operation.

I have a cutter similar to that. I hate it! One time I set it down on two tires and put jack stands under the front. I pulled right off and it was perfect to hook up next time. Wrong!! It still had to beat and pry to hook it up. I’d like to push it off a cliff but it cuts really well.
We need a new video! Been a while
I agree!! I may bale some hay Saturday!!!
Had a friend with same coop problem he took old fencing rolled it out next to the coop staked it down stopped the problem.
I understand the way you are pricing plus word of mouth can also bring in more work
Can u do a video on how to level the e12 because mines been wrong since factory ans leaves strips all over the pasture
Thanks for posting brother,
Is it my imagination, or is that tractor freewheeling going down hill?
Time stamp it and I’ll take a look. I don’t think so. Sliding maybe!! lol!
@theweekendfarmer7513 maybe that's what it was, sounded like the motor rpms shot up and the transmission wasn't grabbing. Been there done that, isn't no fun!
what is the large spike called and used for at the front of the tractor?
What's the tractor rear tires size?
Weakest link I have found in some 4wd tractors is the front pinion where the driveshaft coupler is, I’ve had them to strip out and cost big money to repair. The case and new holland has the strongest pinions if you do a lot of loader work. Trust me if had them fail at the worst of times
That’s a good review. What dealership was you at?
This is at H&R Agripower
He said all cab tractors are around $40k, you dang skippy.
Heck that was 3 years ago. It’s $50k-$$60k now. I priced a 90hp JD last year, It was over $80k.
What was your ground speed? That factors into the calibration for pounds per acre as well 👌
No Sir. Not with a fertilizer buggy. The conveyor on a fertilizer buggy is ground driven.
It has been a minute
It has been!!
I have the same setup as you. E12 on a 5075E. What rpm do you engage the pto? Mine almost dies at 1600. Is that normal??
That is normal!! You have to start that E12 at almost full throttle!! All batwings are that way on most all tractors. I have some friends that run 15ft's on 100hp tractors. They do the same thing.
Thanks! I thought it would start off better...
@@bradgreenwell6097 It takes a lot to start it, but not much to run it when you get it going. Without rambling forever...If you look at the gear reduction you get... It takes about 40HP for a 6FT hog. It takes 70HP for a 7FT, it has a single blade...Only 40HP for an 8FT.- 2 blades...50 HP for a 12FT. -3 blades. They make a 10FT batwing with 3 blades, They say you can run it with 25HP. Getting them started is the hard part. keeping it going depends on what your cutting.
You sound like Rodney carrington 😂
Loved the sermon, brother!
I enjoy your videos. Sunday music was on the last one I saw
I stopped video at 5:08. My estimate; $500
This is 2024! 33yrs experience.
@@jb6971 And?
Any contact email address manufacturer supplier. Need wheel hay rake 2+2 A shape which work in sugarcane farm.
Love the Blue.
Battery powered leaf blower works best for cleanining around radiator.
Great video. I'm looking forward to bush hogging with my 5075e, I've been doing a lot of grapple/bucket and disk work so far. Its an absolute workhorse
Its nice when you dont get stuck or hit a stump bushhogging
Just another day in paradise
New subscriber here from west TN. I have a 3046R and that little sucker is a work horse, I use it to mow my yard, rake and ted hay, haul hay. Look forward to future videos, just started my channel this year if you would like to check it out. Have a good one!
Looks like you got it from a trigreen dealer. Which one?
I see the CO-OP logo on the drill, what part of Tennessee are you in?
Middle Tennessee
@@theweekendfarmer7513 Nice, I’m just NE of Knoxville
As usual good job
thats a nice mower just dont loan it to NOBODY it may not come back in one piece u know how sum people are
lol pity the guy on the baler
How well does it handle the bailer?
It does good. I put up 200 bales a year. It’s fine for that. 4x5 bales. Anything more than that I would say go for more power. I will eventually have a bigger baler tractor.
10-4 on that hair cut LOL
I pulled the trigger on a 5075E this week and I'm hoping it will be delivered next week. Looking forward to putting it to work
Congratulations
Good job as usual keep up the good work
I just got a 5075E. I hope I don't have that issue
I’ve had two of them. They are bulletproof for the most part. The dealer added a second SCV to this tractor, it’s had a problem ever since. I’m pretty sure this problem was caused by the dealer. I’m sure we will get it resolved.
Great video. How are you liking the 5075E? I'm in the market for a tractor and I'm looking at a 5075E and Kubota M7060. The new 5075E's apparently don't have regen so that is a plus for me, any info is appreciated!
I’m my opinion the 5075e is a much better tractor than the M7060. If your going to finance it, I think you’ll like John Deere insurance better than kubota’s. Even if your paying cash I think you’ll like JD’s insurance better. That being said, I really like the tractor still. I am in the need for something bigger for a hay tractor. So unfortunately the 5075e may be leaving the farm. To answer your question, the M7060 is underpowered compared to the 5075e. Hope this helps.
@@theweekendfarmer7513 thanks for the feedback! I’m in the process of negotiating with each dealer at the moment. I’m still torn between the two but I’m going to think on it for some time
nice machine
Love the videos man! I’m one year in on my 5075e like yours, looove it. Your videos are relaxing to watch, keep it up bud
What’s your gooseneck length? Looking at this same setup and I have a 25 footer
30ft. Tractor and bat wing won’t fit on a 25ft.
Probably should charge for the tractor flat rate plus your time. $150 for the drive to and back plus use of tractor, implement and gas. $40-$60 per hour minimum. $75 an hour would be reasonable. In my opinion he got it half price. If you did it twice a year then you could do $200-300. That means you doubled your clientele. Just my $.02. I don’t own a tractor and I live in California where everything is expensive. Making a bit of profit will ensure you can pay for repairs and maintenance.
That sounds about right!! Prices have went way up for everything. This video is over 3 years old. My last bush hogging job about this size I charged $450
I still have mine with Low Hours
Good Deal
Boss prices are crazy what is a 2023 5075E cost now?
Im not sure what a 2 series cost. I think my 3032e is high 20's closer to 30 I think... What I have seen on the 5075e's they are close to $65,000. I think its absolutely ridiculous!!! I was complaining when they got over $40,000!!! Its not a $65000 machine. My next tractor will probably be over 20 years old. Im not paying these prices.
110 degrees in Texas today. Been over 100 almost every day this summer
Do you have a hydraulic top link on the 5075E? Also, would the 3rd svc control it?
yer gonna see some serious sh*t when this baby gets up to 22 mph.... 22.2 MPH!!!! (I have a 5075E as well and experienced the power of C-4 Gear, on a downward slope...)
What size trailer is that 👀
That's how we have cleaned all over ours and all the skidsteers. To bad the picture on the video wasn't better. It's sure blurry
Personally, I don’t care for crab grass just out of principle lol. However, why plant it when it’s volunteering as well as it is?
Are you cutting in 540e
Yes 540e. I cut and bale in 540e.
