This clip shows there was still life in Moon. He could have come back from his addictions and still been the best Keith Moon type of drummer in the world.

I love this..hot guitar & hot chick indeed. Had no idea why this has only 166 views in 4 years. Speaks of the atrocious state musical tastes have descended too. I've been playing it a bit over the last few days sice I discovered it so the views will be going up!!! Thanks do much for posting this,

Awesome quality from The Masters Apprentices' much better imo than Nickelodeon recordings!!~~ A great blast into the best of OZtralia's musical past often the brilliance of which is massively overlooked!!~~

There is definitely something wrong with this footage, with Rick's magical guitar changes. And I don't think back in 74 the sound quality would have been that good from that I'm guessing is a cine camera?

It's great footage, but I'm wondering how Rick changes his guitar twice during. Don't Waste My Time.

I had never heard of Shakin' Steven's until I needed a karaoke version of Green Door. Unfortunately, I had to settle for his version. At 75, I remember when the original song came out in 1956, sung by Jim Lowe. I sure do wish I could find a karaoke version of the original. This kid's version, whom I had never heard of, while good, is not up to the level of the original. It's similar to the various people who played James Bond. The REAL James Bond will always be Sean Connery.

Still one of my all time favorite albums. Too bad they didn't do another. I played this for a group of younger friends (30's) a couple years ago. one went and bought it almost immediately. Everyone was impressed with it. It definitely aged well.

This was like the Winwood/Traffic offering from Australia. As A Brit I can honestly say Thorpe sings every bit as well as Daltrey, Steve Marriott or Greg Lake. The world in the late-60's/early 70's simply wasn't ready for music like this from down under competing with the U.S./UK artists. What a conniving shame. As much as I love the early Bee Gees stuff. There simply is no comparison to the soulfulness and thorough musicality of what Thorpe was doing then.

I can't believe he can lay down that badass bass and sing lead! I would have a seizure if I attempted that. Then the audience would have at me for torturing their ears.
