I will share with you unusual procedures, workflows and tips that you can personalise and adapt to your sound and taste. And from time to time upload some live performances.
KZread is overflowing with great tutorials showing how to operate electronic music gear. In this channel instead we focus on how to use gear in a creative and unique way.
I am a musician, scientist and producer who loves analog synthesizers and creative digital effects. I love both worlds.
In this channel I will also post my live performances as I evolve with my live setup, sharing tips and workflows that I found useful or that I like to adopt. Techno, ambient, IDM and Electronica are the genres that I mess around the most, but I always strive to create some kind of fresh sound or vibe inspired to those genres.
Based in Berlin, the European capital of Techno but originally from Italy, the world capital of Pasta.

good input, mate. Really helping me out with my music
@@severusslim7448 very happy to hear man :)
This feature is so musical. Mindblowing. Thank you so much for your explanations.
Totally agree I am appreciating it more and more. Thank you, my pleasure :)
Man, you have some quality hints and tips for the Elektron boxes 🤩 Thankyou so much for sharing your workflow! 🙏
Thanks a lot mate 🫶 in art/music I believe in cooperation and community rather than competition :) it’s great to share geeky elektron stuff and see that other peeps dig it too!
Really great video with great examples of patching. I’m thinking about pairing the subharmonicon with my Matriarch. I might get the DFAM first though
Thanks 🫶 wow with the matriarch you can go even more crazy, i think the DFAM is as good as the subharmonicon for patching.
Excellent as usual. Changing the envelope shape on the Amp page is cool also. Keep up with the technique vids. They are cool.
So happy to hear this man :) next Sunday the second part of this video more technique oriented will come out, check it out!
Thank you for this perfect tutorial. I have had the Syntakt for a long time and finally I understand the FX block 😄
Great to hear man :) thanks for the super nice comment 🫶
Nice! Thank you.
Thanks for your comment :)
exactly the information i was looking for, thanks!!
Glad I was able to deliver it :)
Does this work on mk1?
The mk1 does not have the performance knob unfortunately..
i fink just mastering rhythm is all you need, other gear just too much complexity: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIOrqZueqJbRnKQ.html

under rated video. Thank you !

Sweet, thanks for this
My pleasure!
Very nice!
Happy you liked this short semimodular journey :)
Elektron is taking care of his own memes by implying heavy math in the simple task of syncing an LFO. That is really funny. Thank you so much !
they almost did an ADHD envelope x)
😁
thank you, really useful insights
Happy you found this useful :)
Super cool! I'm gonna try this at home 🙂
Happy you found it interesting :) alone the patching possibilities are ok..but together 🤯

Oh man this is genius. Earned a subscribe! This helped crack the code for me and toss away the calculator.
Glad this helped :)
Fantastic, love it

Great tutorial TNX for this 👍🙂 If I may ask what the reference track is, it seems interesting 🧐
Thanks :) the ref track is from Unkown Concept, I think 'The Purge' check him out amazing stuff!
@@solarj I appreciate it. Thank you 🙏🙏

Thanks for this! Please do more videos with the moog 🙏🏼
Happy you liked it :) yesss that’s exactly the idea, KZread needs more Moog 🫶
Finally, ive waited forever for this video. Thank you.
Happy you liked it :) the Subsequent 37 is the best!
@@solarj i will give it a try with my moog grandmother no cap
@@deadlinkofficialartst5592 nice :) btw how do you like the sequencer on the GM?I tried only few times and I’m not a huge fan but maybe I should give it another go..?
@@solarj ngl i don't really use it that must, i mostly do it in Ableton tbh no cap
@@solarj man i need to more of my 4 analog synths ngl
Nice. Thanks for sharing. Does that mean that we completely bypass Syntakt FX Block and make all the FX in Ableton?
Thanks for the nice comment :) If you mean the reverb and delay you can also have those as a separate track in Ableton (I quickly assign that output to an Ableton channel when I’m finishing setting up the inputs in the video). If you mean the FX track I am not sure how that is handled - didn’t try/investigate yet. But I guess it will just affect the outputs of the tracks that are routed into it?
Unfortunately a waste of time. Thanks for mentioning the very basic connection. I was hoping to get more information about how the send effects (delay, reverb…) can be applied on the separate tracks in ableton. They work in the sum but not in the separate tracks. Where can I add a return channel for those fx? For me it’s not an option to not use them.
Thanks for the feedback :) sorry to hear that this was not what you were looking for.
Great job. Can you share you setup?
Thank you :) sure the setup that day was: - Moog Grandmother - Sequential Prophet 6 - Elektron Analog Rytm - Bastl Instruments Thyme - Arturia Beatstep Pro
hard to watch, audio from mic is very low, audio from syntakt makes my ears bleed (ok sorts itself out once you get into it, sorry)
You’re right 🥲 I tried a different setup and it was not optimal, thanks for the feedback lesson learned!
awesome tutorial
You are awesome :)
Nailing it.
Awesome work thankyou🙏🏻😊
Happy to help on this annoying matter :)
@solarj not annoying just opened up my head that little bit more
I still come back to watch this most nights.
More tips please. Nothing but the tips.
No tricks, only tips? Ok 🫶
Really enjoying your channel, especially the Elektron boxes videos, I'm learning a lot from them. Keep them coming! :)
Thanks, will do! 🫶
Great tricks, thanks! I use the CMD+OPT+L and CMD+OPT+B so much that I mapped them to my mouse side buttons.
Niiiice that’s smart ;)
