    I understand that the conversations between Dabo and Alabama never got off the ground. He told them no at the beginning and that was it. I doubt that he would have seriously entertained leaving Clemson. Having said all this, the 2024 schedule looks like it could be challenging early on. First three games are Georgia, NC State and App State. All three of these games could be difficult. No one should be shocked, for example, if App State beats them.

    I used to feel kind of the same you thought but, as a bears fan I support him because if you look at the actions that he does after the draft and interviews with people like Poles, Eberflus and other players that played with him everyone loved him and that whiny attitude that you portray him to be as is competitive Fire 🔥. If you don’t have the confidence to think your the best especially at the QB position then you don’t have it. Right now he has re-energized Bears 🐻 fans like me who are anxious for the season to start. But like what you said we wouldn’t know until the season starts but, I think he’ll be a much better upgrade than Fields. Watch his tape and do your research and you will see why he’s talented. I’ve watched some of his games and highlight tapes to know that he has an arm, is mobile in the pocket, can through with anticipation and can throw at any angles similar to Mahomes. But he’s a long way from Mahomes so I don’t want to compare him to that. It’s hard not to deny his tape and what people that’s been around him say nothing but, amazing things about him as a person. He even has a foundation for anti bullying. S

Michael Jordan believed he was a starter when he was told otherwise. Look at where that attitude got him. Also, where's the guy he sat behind at Oklahoma? He obviously wasn't a whiny pansy or he wouldn't have followed Lincoln Riley to USC. And if coach didn't think that highly of him, then he doesn't let him come with. It may not be his choice to be named the starter, but it's damn sure his choice to get better and earn it.

Although his path was unusual, GG bet on himself and won. It’s obvious he made the right choice and was correct about being NBA-ready. I love how the "talking heads" love to spin everything Clemson in a negative light. Any Clemson fan that says that they do not want Dabo needs to find another team. Name any coach not named Kirby Smart that has a better resume than Dabo right now? Dabo said no to Bama and what Top 5 coach would even touch that job after the Saban era. Give me one team that succeeded after their legendary coach either retired or left....Give me just one....The answer is none. There is not a coach in college football that I would rather have than Dabo! Clemson is a unique place and Dabo has made it a national brand. Dabo has built the best culture in program in college football and I justify that statement by the quality of young men that he produces. He graduates nearly 100% of his players and many go on to play in the NFL. At the end of the day, Clemson will never consistently win national championships and I am OK with that. I remember the Ken Hatfield and Tommy West days and Dabo has Clemson light years away from those miserable times.

    His ACC logic was wild… he said ignore the fact the ACC had a winning record over the SEC and never mentioned why FSU didn’t make it to the playoffs according to the committee lol.

  • @TaylorAdams12
    @TaylorAdams125 ай бұрын

    For the first point, the winning record against the SEC should absolutely be ignored. Take a closer look at those games. The ACC beat South Carolina twice, LSU once, Florida once, Vandy once and Texas A&M once. Here’s the thing: LSU is the only one of those teams who had a winning record in the SEC. A&M was 4-4, SCAR was 3-5, Florida was 3-5, and Vandy was 0-8. Bear in mind, FSU themselves had the LSU win and the Florida win. The rest of the ACC was 4-4 against the SEC, and the ABSOLUTE BEST of those other wins was Texas A&M. If the SEC didn’t have divisions, Texas A&M would’ve been 7th in the SEC. Now let’s look at the SEC’s wins against the ACC. They beat Louisville once, Georgia Tech twice, and Virginia once. Louisville and Georgia Tech both had winning records in the ACC and both finished top 5 in the conference. Louisville, the ACC runner-up, lost AT HOME to the 8th best SEC team at the very end of the regular season. But then the ACC is supposed to get more credit for beating a bunch of SEC bottom-feeders than the SEC is supposed to get for beating the ACC’s top-tier teams?
