Adventures Are Out There

Adventures Are Out There

We are a family of 4 (Curtis, Melissa and Kiddos) who love the FREEDOM of the open road!
We love visiting National Parks & Monuments, State Parks, Historical Sites, we love viewing wildlife, viewing all different landscapes, museums, etc. Our goal is to show you some place new that you never knew about and inspire you to get out and explore the world around you. Because...
Adventures Are Out There, are you?

Then God said, "Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear."
...God called the dry ground "land" and the water "seas" And God saw it was good.
Genesis 1:9-10

We love seeing God's Creations. From land to sea, wildlife, to vegetation. it is all very good!

"I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well." Psalm 139:14

Thank you for following along on our Adventures!
God Bless!

Sorry I somehow missed this one! What a lovely rainforest trail. Alaska is stunning! This looks like a great excursion option for your cruise. Such beautiful trails. And you got to see a bald eagle! So close too!! Wow that's incredible - I agree, they are so majestic! Much better than a turkey haha! So cool to try those berries. Lovely port too. That sunset is AMAZING!! Wow. Can't wait to see all the rest of your adventures back. Fantastic as always :)

Ahh British Columbia is so beautiful! I haven't been to the west coast in years. The color of the water is so beautiful. Wow 1200 km journey!! that's crazy, and then trying to climb the falls after that sounds exhausting for the poor salmon lol. Too bad you didn't see any though! But what a lovely trail to check out. I love the sound of the waterfall - so soothing! Love the family photo, so nice. Fantastic day of your trip! :)

Y'all weren't having much success seeing bears on this trip across the country. We have only seen a live bear outside a zoo in person once - it ran across a four lane road we were driving on like 30 feet in front of us. That is as close as we ever want to get to a bear. I would much rather see the bald eagle. Ketchican looks beautiful. We have friends at church who lived in Ketchikan and they are always telling us what an awesome place it was to live. We will have to check it out some day. Thanks for sharing your Alaska excursion with us!

This was a really beautiful state park. I wonder why all those fish are dead. When we go to lakes or rivers or beaches, it isn't uncommon to see a dead fish. But I have never been anywhere that had a bunch of them laying around. That is such a beautiful beach to walk along. I liked seeing the old church too. Thanks for sharing another great state park with us!

I took a group of students to the Devils Millhopper in the 1990s. They loved the wood stairs that descended into the bottom. The plants and trees growing in it were amazing. This site really teaches kids and adults about Florida's unique geology and flora. It's a hidden gem in the Sun Shine State. I recommend seeing it if you ever visit Florida and especially if you are a resident.

So that’s what it looks like! I walked down there in August of 2010. I kept looking for that waterfall I heard about, but it was all dried up. I walked in what I guess is the river in your video. I was the only person down there, so it was kind of creepy. It was nearly 100 degrees and the walk back up about killed me. Good times.

@@AdventuresAreOutThereI suppose we might have been. It was weird. I went there with my girlfriend and her family without knowing much about the area. They kept talking about this waterfall down in the canyon, but none of them wanted to walk down there. So I walked down alone without knowing what to look for. I walked around for over two hours looking for this vast waterfall. All these years, I had no idea how pretty it actually was until seeing your video. It’s cool that you did it in the freezing cold with people everywhere. Stark contrast to my experience! Thanks so much for posting this!
