First of all, we were missing our regular full backs, who have a vital role to play in our attack. Secondly we need to attack with more pace and/or width. Our recent goals have shown this is the way around or through the low block. Finally, we are not creating enough chances. We dominated possession had 10 corners, but never looked like scoring from one. Not enough shots on target either. We need to do better. But our fans need to remember this is the first year of a new chapter and we still need the squad to suit the system. I hate losing too btw, i wanted to get into the top 3, but i now think our optimum will be 4th. Which is 4 places higher than all the media experts predicted at the start of the season.

Why are we entertaining overly emotional and non-critical comments from reactive fans? Of course low block teams kill games, it’s what they do. And of course creative players struggle against anti-“football” teams, it’s why they do that. If our creative players were match fit, 4 or 5 matches out of injury and playing together I’d understand the hissy fits. If we lost that game with starting (creative) full backs and fresh Maddison, Son, Bentancur etc I’d get it. E.g. how did Kane play in the UCL final? Shit, of course……he was just out of injury and Moura was in a much better place. FFS

In Ange we trust. Our squad needs work. We need good cover in all 11 positions. Yesterday showed, we missed Porro and Udogie. Their replacements were just not good enough to help break down a stubborn Wolves defence. So yes Werner is worth a place in the squad. His running off the ball has yet to be recognised by his teammates- he will only get better. As to Gallagher, he scored his first goals last Monday. So he is not a new Lampard as some have suggested. But if he is seen as a replacement for PEH, then OK. Again, the club needs to work with Ange to get him the squad he needs to push on and challenge for the title.

I have liked what I have seen. His end product and gelling with teammates needs work but he has made some good instinctive runs that with time the likes of Maddison will see and utilise. I was apprehensive but now am pleasantly surprised with his contribution and skill set.

5th place might be good enough to get a cl place this season. As the 2 countries that do best in europe both get an extra place. Problem with that is, the tv revenue from your country is largely shared between the teams that qualify from your country. So the tv revenue will be split 5 ways instead of 4.

👏🏾👏🏾 Werner was our most threatening winger while son was away. His pace and dribbling can be scary. Needs fine tuning, hopefully son can coach his runs and shots. Awful assessment from Tony Caserino, tried to pick on an easy target.

Having followed Ange for quite some time, I can assure everyone, Timo & Son are exactly the type of players he builds teams around & I don't believe I have seen a player like Mickey VDV before & he also seems perfect for Angeball..
