That is beautiful basketball. As much as i love marcus smart, he could not do what jrue was doing without the ball.

I dont think this is the second cutter, looks like after you pass youre cutting middle, then fill ball side second line. It looks effective

It''s a shame that they reverted from this back to Harden's bs ISO ball.

This is a really interesting concept but what exactly are the advantages of this empty corner step up? Seems like the defense can just load up on that side of the ball.

Great advantage small sided game with quick decision making to find the open player for high value shot on offense and a lots of scramble situations to communicate on defense. But i've got a question regarding the rotations, how you rotate in/out offense & defensive players in this format!? I use a pretty similar SSG for my team, called 4x3 bursts, where the offense stays for 60 seconds and the defense rotates out after each possession. And using different constraints (depends on what we want to work on) for example: no cuts (only open shots & drives) or can cut (see open space = take space / read take 2 defender), time or dribble limits, can only catch behind 3 point line, must get a paint touch before allowed to score, only gold medal shots count (open shots, layups, draw fouls/FTs), must follow penetrate pass pass concept, must follow push/pull/hold concept, must do an action after passing (ie. exchange, cut or set an off-ball screen) or use "outs" on offense or defense (ie. no ball pressure, more than 0.5sec decisions, "floor is lava" = must re-space in less than 3sec, etc.). Do you use any sort of constraints too for this drill, to change up the affordances for the players!? Appreciate any awnser, greetings from germany.

I see most of the ball screens set here are in the middle of the two guards up top. Would it also be effective to set the ball screen outside of either guard at the top of the zone on the far right or left?

It's simple, it's clean, it's quick. Less is more. You don't need 10 passes, sometimes you only need 1 or 2 passes.
