What a brilliant and sumptuous production - bravo to all the Atlanta Dance Academy - and great tech support and filming too - plus a thank you for uploading this very enjoyable and satisfying event. I attended a ballet performance of ' Giselle ' in London many, many decades ago, and had an increasingly scratchy vinyl record to listen to - and then, by pure chance found a rare cd of ' Giselle ' only two weeks ago, recorded by The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, conducted by Sir Neville Marriner - wonderful :) Thank you once again for this timely upload - it is much appreciated :)

A zašto ne?Ja sam pošla u studio klasičnog baleta sa 6 godina i završila srednju baletnu školu.Balet je jako teška i naporna profesija;do 15 godina sam imala 3 prelima i baš je Gisella bila moj oproštaj sa klasičnim baletom,naime pala sam i teže se ozlijedila ali nastavila plesati od jezz densa do burleske;sad imam 63 godine i još se držim šipke...
I must say. This studio will be lucky if they aren’t fined by the Balanchine Trust. Wow.

@@LycanTroop3 some this dance’s choreography is what Balanchine did for his Nutcrakcer. Almost everything, if not, everyhing he choreographed has been copyrighted and there is a lot of stuff to go through to get the rights. While this studio isn’t using all the choreography down to the bone they are using large chunks of it.

我不懂跳舞,但喜歡欣賞舞蹈。《小城雨巷》這個舞蹈有很多版本，我特別喜歡你這個作品。一群有丁香一樣顏色、芬芳，結著愁怨的姑娘們，在舞臺上輕移蓮步，那種以群芳撐傘漫步的舞蹈編排，使整個畫面猶如隔霧之花，使人仿如進入純真無邪、憂愁哀怨的花語世界。 技術技巧，我真是不懂，我覺得姑娘們動靜得宜，舞蹈的節律感也很好，由開始輕靈的舞姿轉向中間活潑熱情的一段，再回到飄逸輕盈至結束，動作轉折過渡自然順暢。抖傘、轉身、彎腰.....綢傘揮曬自如，那種美感有一種濃濃的江南水鄉味道。 音樂是經典的曲子，動聽迷人，與情境和舞姿相得益彰。 舞衣藍白為主，藍色有一種憂怨感;我個人覺得白色是純真美好的表現，特別是舞鞋和舞襪都穿上白色，不只是線條優雅美麗，更有那種純潔無邪的超獨特魅力，加上雅緻的妝容，遇上實而不華的舞台設計，這搭配有說不盡的美麗清雅。 姑娘們都是結著丁香般的美麗，面帶對未來充滿希望的絲絲微笑，情感流露含蓄內斂。這份丁香般真摰感情，懂得欣賞的你，能感受到嗎? 我是來自香港的觀眾，感謝你讓我欣賞到這麼動人而美麗的舞蹈作品。
「梅須遜雪三分白，雪卻輸梅一段香。」當我欣賞到這個舞蹈作品，這兩句詩悠然而生。舞蹈帶給人一種雪梅報春，萬物將復甦，春雪迎花語那種美好意境。 表演非常好，舞台不用華麗的鋪張，以淑女的曼妙舞姿展現整個優美畫面。技術技巧，我是不懂的,我覺得她舞姿輕靈，身輕似燕，輕雲慢移的步姿，加上突如奇來的疾風回旋，玉手揮扇，扇人合一發揮得天衣無縫。配以古韻悠揚的動人音樂，真是雅俗共賞的好作品。舞衣紅白兩色為主加上白色的腿，清雅的妝容，正是中國人心中對女性最喜愛的一個標準--窈窕淑女。此情、此景，跳舞的淑女洋溢著春意將來,雪梅爭艷的絲絲微笑,那種喜悅的情感,表露無遺，深深地打動觀眾的內心。這就是我們中國的古典舞，懂得欣賞是一種福氣。
