  Hi, thank you for the info! On "Job location" are we supposed to fill in where I want to work from? Where I'm from? Or where the company is from? I ask because I'm afraid to have all this alerts and not be notified because of a simple mismatch in the location.

  Hello, thank you for your comment. We'd recommend researching the companies' work policies. If they are fully remote, then the location most likely doesn't matter. However, some companies require employees to be in the same country or time zone. If they work on-site or hybrid, it'll be better to put the company's or the branch's location where you want to work.

  Hi ,If you are not sure about the job title ,as that varies from company to company ,then what to fill there ,eg ,I am looking at sales ,but company names that title as Business Development

  You should create the job alert for that company as how the company names the specific position that you would like. If you think your skills and contributions would match with what they expect for their "Business Development" role, then you can confidently fill in as that. Just make sure to research what the position is all about either from their job post for that opening or the profile of the people who has worked in that role in the company. Hope this helps! :)

  Hello! In this case, you should be emphasizing your skills that might be relevant to the position and help you do the job you're looking for. Don't forget to prioritize the skills section on your resume and try to find experiences or achievements that are relevant to these skills in other sections as well.

  I think you displayed all of these soft skills. Communication by effectively passing an information to us, Creativity in the eye-pleasing video edit and Confidence in the way the information was passed. I have a question, if I have 2 experiences, can I write it then write skills under and list the soft skills I want to show. then after that still create a different skill section where I portray my hard skills?

  Hello! The best solution in your situation would be to use a functional (or skills-based) resume format that would put your skills section first instead of education or work experience. Focus on your any skills you might have and highlight them with real-life examples. They can be anything! Typing, tutoring, animal care, baby-sitting... You would be surprised how many skills and experiences you can include in your resume. We recommend watching some of our videos about "Skills" and "Resume formats" and following the instructions :) Good luck on your job search and we hope for the best for you!
