  Had the 709 as an EDC for what seems like forever. Carry in a nice little pocket holster. No one has ever been able to tell.

  Wrap the entire plate front and back in one to two layers of canvas sheeting (like a painters drop cloth) then tape the canvas in place with a few layers of duct tape. Then use thick 3m rubber splicing tape (shrink tape) around the edges of the plate. This will significantly slow spall and any remaining spall will have trouble penetrating the layers of duct tape and finally the thick rubber splicing tape.

  Next time, leave about 3/4 of an inch of the rear snap tab. Melt 2 holes about 3/4 of an inch apart and run your bungie through that for the rear attachment.

  You're burning the voltage regulator chip inside. Just add a single cell and find some sort of a conductor for an example a long spring to match the length and make sure the spring is only contacting the ( - ) anode. Good luck.

  Great video but i want to add that Propper inc was also a government contractor for both 6 color and 3 color desert pants. They made 6 color in 1990 and the other one in 1990 and 2000. All in all nice video 👍🏻

  Do you still have your 709? I was wondering how the slide finish was holding up. My nieces G2C and my stepdaughters G2C slide finish easily scratches. I just bought a 709 (2016 manufacturer date) and the slide finish seems more durable.

  Would you be able to provide some more details on how to use this for a beginner to coyote calling? Am I pressing the reed down with my lips, tongue, or teeth, and is the spring inside the middle of the cone supposed to be touching the walls of the horn part?   I saw another video on this and he was able to cut the PT92 hole leaving a bit of the Berettas 92 slot on the side of the mag...and he could use it in both!

  You can attach a general purpose pouch to that hydration carrier. It works well for day hikes and the like. You wear the carrier like a backpack with or without the flc vest and the little general purpose pouch can carry a phone, charger, some basic emergency stuff.

  This is the biggest no-brainer for a cheap and reliable 9mm, and if you like 1911s in 45 ACP, then this is your 9mm carry! Yeah that is probably why The Philippine police contracted for it. The only place that loves 1911s more than America is the Philippines.

  not that small if all pieces are combined , maybe 18X24 and weighs close to 10 lbs, alone I can fit it in a 14x12 stuff sack

  @@vermontconcerned5586 Thanks for the advice. The wiggys is more a cold weather sleeping bag. I love the MSS but the intermediate bag is a little bit to narrow for my sleeping habits.

  Yes! I have a 1996 Bosnia era and a slightly lighter 1998 that snap together with the updated bivy . Two patrol bags work great in place of the intermediate all black or urban gray. But if it is too warm then no point in using two. This one in the video is from 1993 ! Reversible olive -black! Very adequate for "urban" use!

  I don't find the color to be any issue at all since I wear mine under my plate carrier. But even if someone did have one and wanted to change the color, they could spray paint it to whatever they want. Woodland and Multi-Cam should be easy enough to paint with the Rustoleum camo paints and cardboard stencils cut out.
