  Thank you for your words 😘 So far, my fun level is still higher than my frustration level... but I'm getting more and more frustrated lately. I really enjoyed getting Fashionistas to put them on mtm, but I won't get any of the new ones. Resin printing and pixelation is one thing, but most of them even have lines like a face screening made by an old printer running out of ink 😂 That is simply too much for me.

  That is good to know 😄 Barbie Looks 22 is a clear no for me 😅 In the meantime, I also ordered Looks 24. I'm not sure if I like Simone on the curvy body. But it seems that it is an easy skincolor to find another head for. So, I just have to be lucky getting a good face screening^^

  The doll with the chewed fingers- it doesn't seem to be damaged too much, maybe you want to put the doll's hand in boiling water for a few minutes. This usually works for the plastic when it's just "dented" with teeth marks. Oh, but make sure you keep other parts out of the water and move the hand around without letting it touch the hot metal pot.

  I simply collect the doll bodies that are still in ok condition and bundle them for a sale at a certain point because I have no use for them. I am not interested in older styled bodies. Therefore, I am happy to find used dolls with bad bodies or no bodies at all 🤣 But in case an item is still in good condition, I usually simply give it away. Nowadays, there are a lot of collectors who want to complete dolls. Not me... I like to mix old and new together and I love the fact that even older heads can be part of the new era of mobility for Barbie dolls^^

  The skirt looks like an 80s or 90s Barbie skirt. The waist is very small and made to fit the Barbie bodies of that time period.

  You're right. It is probably made around that time. For me, only mtm bodies are really interesting for collecting when it comes to Barbie. Therefore, I rehome everything that doesn't fit those bodies 😅

  You can get rid of the glue in the doll's head. There is a spray called WD-40. You can find it at any hardware store. I don't know if it is sold in your country. But you spray the doll's hair and the inside of the head. Then you just shampoo the doll's hair and the glue is washed out.

  WD-40 is available here, but the content is very different😅 Still a very good lubricant, though. I like to use it for guitar mechanisms. But the one you get here won't work for doll hair. But of course, thank you for the tip. You couldn't know that it is different here in Germany.

  Hier gibt es auch keine Second Hand Läden mit Puppen, und auch nur selten Flohmärkte. Wenn dann wird dort hauptsächlich Kinderkleidung angeboten. Und der Großteil der Stände sind fliegende Händler. Berlin ist da wirklich gut aufgestellt, aber die Westfalen scheinen eher spaßbefreit zu sein. 🫣

  Exakt das gleiche Spielchen hier! Wo lassen die Leute die Puppen? Vielleicht liegen diese einfach Jahre auf dem Speicher oder I'm Keller 😱... keinen Dunst. Ich komme aus NRW und man sollte meinen, bei der Masse an Menschen müssten die Geschäfte voll sein mit dem neusten Zeug... aber Pustekuchen! Bei den Trödelmärkten gibt es erschreckend viel Bekleidung (natürlich nicht für Puppen 🤣) und alles rund um Kleinkinder. Naja, eigentlich müsste es doch was von und für die Phase dazwischen geben 🤪

  @@Endollphins Vielleicht verkaufen die meisten über Kleinanzeigen. Da haben die Preise aber dann auch e-bay Standard. 🤔 Ich weiß das es gelegentlich solche Sammler Cons gibt, aber ich hab keine Ahnung wo so was angekündigt wird. Und wenn dann vermutlich nicht in NRW. 🤷‍♀️ Die Frage ist ob man hier genug Leute zusammen bekommt um so was selbst zu veranstalten.

  Ich wundere mich auch, dass es so wenig gibt. Bei den Cons bin ich ebenfalls überfragt. Da wir in Deutschland nicht sonderlich modern sind heisst das bei Puppen wohl immer noch Sammlerbörse😉 Soweit ich weiß ist es reine Glücksache ob da mal ein Händler mit Barbs dabei ist oder nicht. Berlin ist natürlich eine ganz andere Welt 😆 Die Metropole hat mit dem Rest Deutschlands nicht viel gemeinsam, aber ich glaube das ist bei derartigen Großstädten normal 🙃 Ich wundere mich einfach warum es soviel mehr Angebote mit Cons und Co. für "boy toys" gibt. Vielleicht ist es bei uns immer noch verpöhnt Puppen zu sammeln... mit "spaßbefreit" hast du glaube ich schon generell den Nagel auf den Kopf getroffen 😅

  I really don't like dolls with ankle articulation - I am always terrified of trying to remove their shoes and taking the foot with it. I have also found that the joints on the Looks dolls can be very stiff and I had all kind of problems trying to get the double joints to bend. Apparently if you rinse them under warm water it can help them to bend more easily. You should definitely contact Mattel Creations about this.

  Your styling is impeccable. Use the weights by crafty magic dolls on her if page. The numbers are spot on or off by a slight margin. There is no shame in taking a scale to the store. There is a way to be discrete. But as long as you pay for them there should be no issue. I had one worker ask what I was doing. I explained and he said it was smart. At the end of the day the creators want our money. But we all have budgets that have to be respected. The hogwarts comment on the outfit gave me a chuckle. 2/ 3 were my favorites. And again the opening dolls were looking amazing. Love your videos.

Half a minute later, 6 people were just watching me from a distance and started chatting among each other. They simply acted like I was completely nuts! Luckily, it happened already a few weeks ago. Now I can laugh about it, but at that moment I was really sad about the reaction of the employees...

  As soon as I read the title, I had to watch! The exact same thing happened to me! While taking off his shoe, his foot pulled off. I've inboxes over 100 Barbies and that was the 1st time this ever happened. I Sent him straight back to Amazon for a full refund. You should return yours also. You are not the only one.

I don't know, but this wave is generally lacking in terms of quality, I think. I will contact Mattel Creations with some pictures and wait what they'll tell me. This weekend is full with working on YT videos 🤣... but I need to find time for taking pictures of him. I should have done this right away, but I was so disappointed that I totally forgot 😭 But you're right with Amazon, I usually buy there exactly for the reason that something went wrong. It is so easy to get rid of the defective item 😅

  I had the exact same issue as you with my first Looks 15 (Karl). Turns out the joint part of her foot was deformed. I ended up getting a new one but I still have my defective Karl. She also had paint from her eyebrow missing. She might be a good candidate for customisation, though.

  It is sad to read that there are so many defective dolls out there. I simply wish that there would be better quality control. You are right, even with defects, there is always the option for customization. But Mattel raises their prices and they should at least raise their overall quality as well I think 😑

  I'm sorry, there is no working link. The Ebay shop is from Germany and the seamstress does not sell internationally. The shop name is Only4Dolls. But she rarely sells her creations in general because it is only a hobby for her 😅 But in fact her doll clothes are very pretty 😁

  I have all 3 of them, and they are my Clueless girls. Also, on the Lina doll, the arms are a different color than the body. A few people have had this issue, including myself and your doll. Mattel really dropped the ball on that one, for a signature doll it's sad.

  You are right! Especially Heide really looks like the actress in the movie, I think 😍 Quite some of the mtm dolls have different colored parts. It is very visible on the BMR Midge as well. Her torso is lighter than her arms. Overall, I am fine with it... But lately, Mattel disappoints pretty often 🫠

  I have the plane & camper. U do know the side of the plane opens as well. Easier to put the dolls in that way. I want the 2 Ken dolls. They r bext on my list. Great set up of them with the Barbie's. Looked really good😀😀

  Hey 😂 I mainly get my stuff on Aliexpress. In case you're interested in a specific item, just ask 😊 Normally the links are an easy find for me and I will share them with you. It is not so easy to find the good stuff on Ali... that is at least my experience 😅 When it comes to socks. You need to search for ob11 socks. These dolls are way smaller than Barbie, but the socks work very well. It is the only way to get nice short sneaker socks. When you are searching for Ken socks, you just have to search for Blythe socks. I'll give you 3 links for example, but there are tons of listing.   Thank you 😁 It is not so easy to find nice music which is free to use. For now, I still like it 😅 So far, I am not on Instagram with the channel. Social media is mainly not my thing. I created one Insta account back in 2016 for my BJD's and posted only 11 times... and the last post was 3 years ago 😪 But I WILL create an account for this channel because I think my subcribers would like that. Therefore, I thought the 500 sub milestone is a good reason to make one^^ I'm sure it will take some more time to achieve that number, but maybe in a month or two 😃

  Thank you for your video review of the 2024 Barbie Color Reveal Rainbow Groovy doll and the codes. I'd like to find a review of all four dolls, but there's nothing on youtube. I hope you find them and do a full length review. I've searched in more than ten local Target stores and have not been able to find doll #3 Asian with pink bathing suit, or doll #4 Hispanic with orange bathing suit. All the stores I visited only have doll #1 Millie with blue bathing suit and #2 African American with violet bathing suit. I wonder if anybody else has had a similar experience. WHERE ARE DOLLS #3 AND 4?!?! :)

  I think I found number 4 (2011 Summer face mold - the one with orange hair) last Friday. Of course, I'll unbox her on camera^^ The store I got her from had a full case of Millie and the Asian girl, but no Mbili and only one Summer... in case I'm right 😁 I guess here are Millie and the Asian girl the least favorite ones 😅

  Hi 😁 I don't think any of the silicone action doll girls can wear any of these Mini Brands Fashion shoes. Especially this pair is padded and is only suitable for smaller feet. But in general, 1/6 action doll feet will be too big for all of the shoes. I'm sorry 😞

  Yes, especially because I was wrong. The retail price was 59€ and not only 50€ 😆 But I don't know how many are sold for that price. During the last year the prices were always between 26 - 34€... but that is still too much for the quality of the doll. You simply have to love this face mold to justify the purchase^^

  The "Reveal" dolls are always bad and so overpriced. I have only ever tried to get them on reduction and only when there is a doll from the line that I particularly like the look of. You get a lot with this doll, I like the idea of the lava lamp even if it feels a bit random, might be nice in a diorama or dolls house though. The extra hair on the clips never look great imo. I did like the clothes - the short and top. The painted on clothes not so much. I would say that you get what you pay for but honestly with these you should be getting a whole lot more for the prices.

  On these Reveal dolls, the hair is often really nice. Most of the time, it is Saran and definitely longer than on the regular playing dolls. But wonky eye is near to always guaranteed and that is a bummer... but my daughter loves this face sculpt and therefore after a while the doll will get a new body, hairstyle and some pretty sunglasses 😆 The lava lamp was totally random, but it is a very pretty prob^^ Personally, I try to avoid the Reveal dolls... but some faces are tempting me. But as I said, hard wonky eyes are a big downside for me. So, they absolutely have to be on sale for me, too 😅

I am very happy that you like my style 😊❤️😘 Unboxing will also be a part of my channel because we all love new dolls, right? 😆 But in general, I have more fun building hybrids, or just give a mtm body a different head and some nice clothes ^^ Speaking of organizing... Before I started KZread, my doll clothes were organized. Now, it is more of an organized chaos! I really hope to get better again with it in the future 🤣🤣🤣 In the earlier days, I just had some drawers full of doll clothes... Then I used some plastic containers, and since the number of clothes are growing, I needed to add a sorting system. Like one container (around the size of a sneaker box) only for tops, the next only for bottoms or jackets and so on 😅 Now I think about emptying an human size cabinet just for the clothes 😃 I am sure at some point I'll make a video about it... In case I'll ever get organized again 😩🤣
