Loved the video but if your going to lighten hair in separate times make sure you cover the already lighten hair with a foil so the lightener wont seap through the hair your placing on top of the alr3ady lightened hair.Or start at the topor forehead so u wont have to place more bleach on the lighten hair when doing the second section.Kinda defeats the purpose of protecting the hair in doing it in two separate times.Hope this helps.Good luck😊

The last few times I’ve done my roots. I’ve used this technique. I feel like I have way more control, even though it takes double the amount of time. I feel like I can actually sit there and take the time I need to saturate every section- when I try to do the whole head at the same time (even with fresh bleach on each section) there was always a part of my head that wasn’t processed as long as the rest. By breaking my hair in half - and the bulkiest part of my hair first- I have all the motivation in the beginning- and then by the time I get to my front sections- it’s the least amount of hair and forces me to do good because I want my front pieces to look the best. I’ve tried all different types of sectioning and parting techniques - but really doing it in two separate parts- allows wiggle room. I have little to no banding- and more accurate application doing it this way. I wish I saw more people at home doing it like this - could possibly have salon results much easier. Most people just get frustrated or impatient, and then start rushing the rest. And especially if I know, I’m coming up on the processing time I start rushing. Anyways, love this video!!!! 💅✨

What worked 4 me (same day, back-to-back): 💃🏿💃🏿 1. Dawn soap + lemon juice wash. Rinse. 2. Straight Lemon Juice sprayed bottled onto hair, blow dryed highheat to activate. X2 3. Baking soda wash. Rinse. 4. Vinegar (straight) wash. Rinse. Condition. Toner came completely out! BONUS: Soft silky hair, and super soft hands!!

Next time use a bleach and 20 or 30 developer if you have healthy hair. My hair absorbs any of these toners with gray, purple or blue. When I used the T18 that everyone suggests to tone my yellow brassy hair, it absorbed all the gray in the toner and my hair turned all extremely dark gray! I did the same as you but used a higher developer. Had to do it twice so next time I will try the 10 volume to see if that is better ! Your hair looks awesome!

Next time use a bleach and 20 or 30 developer if you have healthy hair. My hair absorbs any of these toners with gray, purple or blue. When I used the T18 that everyone suggests to tone my yellow brassy hair, it absorbed all the gray in the toner and my hair turned all extremely dark gray! I did the same as you but used a higher developer. Had to do it twice so next time I will try the 10 volume to see if that is better ! Your hair looks awesome!
