It's so contradictory how true Judaism sees true Christianity as true heresy. Two religions that worship the same god and yet one is the schism. The question becomes crucial: why would any true god use the device of a schism to introduce a "New Covenant?" Shouldn't an omnipotent deity be prescient enough to not need to reform his own edicts? The logic stumbles. There is no intelligent answer. You could claim that anything's real if the only basis for believing in it is that nobody's proved it doesn't exist. It's pointless trying to sell a scare tactic such as "Hell" when human souls don't contain neural networks to process pain and pleasure responses. It's more logical to presume you're been hoodwinked into thinking afterlives are real.

1 Timothy 4:10. All saved. You can’t twist that scripture to mean anything else other than all saved. Jesus did not fail on the cross. He did his work and bridged the gap. His last words? It is finished. What was finished? The saving of all mankind. Saved from what? The eternal consequences of Sin. If we commit sin, are we not still saved? You shouldn’t be frightening us. Life is hard enough without the fear of eternal torment. It put me in the psych ward for a month. I’ve never been the same since. Thanks a lot fundies.

The Bible actually teaches us that, when we die, we go to the grave and await the resurrection. After the second resurrection, there will be a day of judgement, and some people will be cast into the lake of fire at that time, where they will die and be burned up. When the Bible speaks of "wailing and gnashing of teeth", it is speaking of people who are alive and on earth, not in hell. The Bible actually never says anything about going to heaven or hell when we die, it says we will be ressurected and either be given eternal life and live on the new earth in paradise, or be cast into the lake of fire and die. The wages of sin is death, not eternal torment, but the gift of God is eternal life. Context is key, don't believe the lies made by people taking scripture out of context. Eternal torment is a damnedable heresy that makes God out to be a psychotic monster and is not actually found in the Bible.

This is why I'm so proud to receive Jesus as my savior. And because of that, he took my damnation on the cross. Growing up I loved doing passion plays. I always thought it was fun and dramatic doing a reenactment of Jesus's crucifixion. But once I learned how horrible Hell is, it provided me even more gratitude to Jesus for suffering on the cross for me. So now I have a much stronger meaningful purpose to do a crucifixion reenactment
