My name is Eric and I love to teach. I love to present information in the simplest way for easy understanding. That is my gift and I use this KZread channel to help anyone thats in need. I've sat in classes where the professors lectures were very confusing and hard to grasp. You pay a lot of money to go to school. You don't deserve to do bad on that test because of the teaching style of the professor. I hope you can use some of my educational videos to help solve this problem. Feel free to always leave feedback.

I've been preparing to go to pharmacology school for some time, and I wanted to ask if there are any pharmacology-specialized Anki card decks for the field that you'd recommend for memorizing some of these key principles? By the way, I absolutely love your content because it summarizes topics that would otherwise take me hours to write notes on. Thank you!

Hello all, anyone can help me verify how to do this calculation? I have a 0.025% capsaicin cream and I want to dilute it to 0.006% capsaicin using cerave healing ointment (per container it is 46.5% petrolatum). Am I incorrect thinking that this would be a simple 1:4 dilution or aka mix 1 gram 0.025% capsaicin cream to 3 grams cerave? Any additional guidance much appreciated.
Very good

@@thepharmacistacademy thank you so much,
Its mind blowing ❤❤
Pretty sure Good Rx, and all those discount cards, are helping in the diminishment of the profitability of retail, and ultimately their destruction. We ordered 360 caps of pregabalin for a patient. I can't remember how much it cost from a third party warehouse but in the thousand dollar range. Good Rx price for the patient was $25 or so. I'm pretty sure Good Rx is not negotiating down the price that much, on the back end, from the manufacture. The pharmacy is taking the hit. The business model of the PBMs is to introduce so much complexity into the reimbursement system that it's hard to predict losses before they happen. And all these discount cards are doing is replicating this model, but with no insurance premiums being paid to them. Think about that, even with zero premiums going into them, some how they are still able to make money off the transaction between the patient, pharmacy and suppliers. And they for sure play rotating villains with prices. They give teaser prices for certain drugs then 2 months later the prices come back up to something closer to a normal price. That way they're rotating where they're undercutting the pharmacy to make it harder for the pharmacy to complain against them.
Solid! ❤
Drug metabolism means the drug is degraded before it has a chance to exert its effect?

What a fantastic educational video. In todays world its frustrating to be able to even have a proper discussion about benzodiazepines without it being hijacked by the mass 'anti-benzodiazepine' crowd that has gone way over the top tbh. I am not at all downplaying the possible side effects as they are real. But it has gotten to a level imo now (especially on newer and younger doctors) where some completely refuse to even practice medicines very basics when it comes to benzodiazepines being the cross benifit analysis which is different for every single patient. There ARE some, a minority, but many still that actually long term use of benzodiazepines is the best options when quality of life is decided to outweigh the cons.
Holy shit. I love you bro. Such an awesome explanation.

I don't think I will forget these simplified diagrams...thumbs up 👍👍👏👏👏
