Howdy! I'm Dawid and welcome to Scale Hangar 182. I make scale modelling videos!
Mostly I enjoy building weathered aircraft stuff!
This channel is my journey...
I started recording model build videos to practice video editing, track my own progress and to share a few videos with my frinds. I never expected this to grow any larger than maybe 100 subscribers but here we are, few years later with over 100.000 subscribers and now doing what I love for a living!
Thank you very much for this opportunity and all the support!
If you would like to support me a little more, you can join my patreon on patreon.com/scalehangar182 - There you can find all work in progress photos of my current and past builds. I normally post there all my work in progress stuff and your name will be shown at the end of my videos!

You have to buy them separatly mate
Outstanding detail work
I've never gotten into W40k, too much overt religion in there for me. But I don't have anything against it. I did wonder why no one has ever done any of the "Hammer's Slammers" universe, which is much more pure military science fiction. That would be much easier now, with 3D printers being much more mainstream. But it's certainly a fine model!
Never heard of "Hammer's Slammers" to be honest. I started playing 40k around 2 months ago
Look into the Tau, they are all about "the greater good". Most of the overt religiousness is solely held by the Imperium
@@ScaleHangar182 It was a series of books written by well-known SF author David Drake. The basic premise was that humankind had determined that war was just too expensive when waged planet against planet, so they would hire professional mercenary companies to fight their battles, and then basically abided by the outcome of the battle. Kind of like drawing for high card.
@@tjh44961 Sounds good. But am not sure what the problem is with "overt religiousness" in a fictional world. It's just a abletop toy soldiers game
@@ScaleHangar182 I've never played the game, I've just seen some of the animated videos online, which is what triggered my comment. But this is not the platform for my views on organized religion, and I will not force them on anyone. Just keep building your amazing models, and I will keep watching.
Bro fr turned plastic into metal☠️‼️☠️
Ohh thanks man!
Excellent work. Incredible quality and very well explained
Very nice result. More 40k terrain and models please!
Such talent and skill 👍👍
Thanks! Really appriciated
I saw u hating on a KZreadr for no reason I clicked on ur channel and I came to this, I don’t support this channel . Don’t do unnecessary comments for no reason that’s just stupid .
Always enjoy your video 👍👍
I love your buildup of layers in the weathering. There is so much character and life in this piece. As a 40k fan, I understand that your audience is more army scale modellers, but It would be nice to see more 40k stuff in the future. It would be cool to see your take on say a Leviathan Dreadnought or any dreadnought for that matter.
I recently started playing 40k and building my Black templars army (cirrently on 1500pts. One of my next purchases is Redemtor dreadnought so im sure i will feature it on my channel!
Ok you definitely convinced me to do this for my next project. 👏🏼
🦾🦾
do it!
"And now for something for something totally different." I've never step into the sci-fi world but this is certainly encouraging
Do it
Awesome Dawid!
Hello mr scale!that 40k stuff is not of my business.but i am happy when someone has fun dealing with that 40k stuff.usually i am building tanks of Western democracies after ww2.with best regards and sticky greetings from Brandenburg/germany.your modellmate.christian
Great build. I was wondering if you could do an a-7 in the future?
I already built A-7 few years ago, but yes I am going to build another one.
So amazing Warhammer rocks.
What brushes do you use
Very nice. I used to have a platoon of those (U.S. Army, no rails along the side for packs, and only the .50-cal). The two things missing are the floor covered with boxes of ammo in their wooden crates (two metal boxes per crate), and in front of the Track Commander's (T.C.) 'seat' (23:11) - which we stood on - were the radios. Which is how I busted my knee and it still clicks.
Yes. I like this format
Hi, beautiful model, very well done. Wonder if you would tell me how you get the supports for the upper and lower personnel doors as my kit doesn't include these? Thank you
Just amazing work. Awesome brother.
incredible! i wish there were courses to teach all this techniques and how to use all the tools you have there...amazing
I must say. It's probably the best macross aircraft I have ever seen. Great job, my friend.
So, i must ask, 2 years later, im interested in the tabletop scale print of the red rocket, but its still way to expensive to make it? the walls are solid printable walls? have you revised the option of make it?. Thanks in advance.
You can make walls hollow but a little bit I guess. The cheapest option would be to print it on fdm 3d printer. Preferably some new fdm printer has the quality is better
This is a very amazing room.
I’m not a gamer but I’ve built a few dioramas. I never expected you to do this but it’s looking very good, so why not do more? Your channel historically focused on aircraft but there’s no reason not to branch out. Go for it!
Jea more Warhammer Dude. Great! 🎉
Love these things Did some jumps from one ages ago in Holland. The thing had holes between the dash and the windscreen that were packed with rags to block them up. Happy days 😂
Good to see a video focusing on the terrain pieces; impressive result.
More Warhammer
