Loving my 2024 250 rr race 😎
My buddy and myself cut the yellow/green stuff in. Glad to see it’s getting burned in!
hows the suspension revalve working.what did they change
They gave it a much softer ride and not really sure what their secret recipe is but hands down it is the best riding bike I have put through the paces of being a daily bike. It feels like it responds faster to the terrain without over reacting.
My 24 300 rr race edition has been a awesome bike so fat. Way better bike then my 23 300 sherco 300. My beta does not have that emobilization next to the clutch lever tho.. 🤷♂️. I got it in January.
We promptly removed it as Beta was recommending it would have issues with battery draining.
Those trails look so smooth on video! Been riding them for at least 15 years... even help make some back in 2009! There really getting rough now! ! Hope you thumb is ok.
who the hell ordered this chaos right off the bat
I dont know but I love it!
About to find out, picked up a 24 yesterday
It is an amazing bike, very capable right out of the box!
SHE CAN RIDE.
23:20 - cheater!
I know! I thought I made a wring turn and didn't want to get separated. Problems with running trail you've never been on before.😅
Nicely done!
Nice ridin
Is this Aoaa or fro how the single truck there
Neither but very similar terrain. FRO > AOAA
Thanks for bushwacking through those elephant ears leafs. hopefully it won't be as bad for us this week.
Wow! Awesome ride and trails. It's a haul for me to come down there from NY and it seems like there is always a race or something else I should be doing. So far I've rode Ashland North, Durty Santa at Locust Gap and a event at Burma, but none of those were as good as those trails. Nice stuff 👍
Legit some of the most diverse terrain on the east coast in a small area. We have it good down here aside from the local economy. or lack there of.
Where did you guys ride? Tower city? We rode Burma a couple of weeks ago and can’t wait to ride some more single track.
Ashland North
Making it all look easy, especially the 1 damn rock that always gets me.
I almost stalled out on it, last time I was on this trail was 2020ish, forgot about the two rocks, the headwall one made me remember it though!
Making it look easy. Nice video and great ride.
Thanks, fun day out, just having a good time!
I love how you keep blaming me lol, this was a George ride! 🤣
I caught plenty of guff the last ride I led ;-)
Love those trails. 👌
Great stuff, could use some light trimming but afraid it will get cheater lines installed, as it is mint at the moment.
Can you explain the difference between the large adjustment springs? In the bike is the red outer adjustment spring and a white auxiliary spring, and with the bike includes a green outer adjustment spring. I picked up an axillary spring kit and I understand the colors there but not for the large outer adjustment springs. The green outer adjustment springs appears to be softer than the red outer adjustment spring. So confused....
Tried the green outer adjustment spring. Appears to be MUCH lighter than the red outer adjustment spring. Seriously aggressive now. Had to back in the adjustment screw to add more preload. Wow, the green adjustment spring is the way to go. Kept the white axillary spring.
Green is the stock one or aftermarket?
You’re on the absolute wrong bike for this type of slow riding. It’s a race edition for a reason. Should have went with the RR that comes with a way softer suspension for weekend warriors. Race edition is meant for hard core fast riding and hard enduro comps.
Looks like a cluster @uck
What did you think of the new alternate starting at the 3:10 mark in your video?
Loved it!! Woulda been awesome to go down and back up the hill. The guy on the t7 with a passenger was the real hero on it
@@Ferraiolo_1 Cool. A couple buddy and I set that one up and cleared it before the ride and we were looking for some feedback. Unfortunately I was unable to attend this weekend since I had family obligations
@@TheRealglass-kp9wythat one and the added little hill climb section near the snack stop, and the little longer trail before the snack stops were all pluses!
@@Ferraiolo_1 Did the guy on the T7 make it to the top?
@@TheRealglass-kp9wy yep! After I passed him on that log, he was right behind me shortly after at the top
blessed with ST!!
Excellent camera work! Great sound! Very nicely done. I'm not a bark buster guy but I do enjoy watching different installs and it sure makes it nice when the videos are professionally done. Great show.
Thanks the Black Magic 6K, and Canon R5 make is look good!
What trail head is this?
Private lands unfortunately.
Great video!! Looks like a blast. What kind of coms are you using?
Thank you, we are using the Sena 50S. Love them!
maybe you can help me. difficult finding info.... i just got a 2018 beta 125 rrs motard I do wonder what the difference is between motard and enduro models). the seller said that it needs to have the "one way assembly" fixed/replaced and the part is Only $105. I see that part on the beta parts list, but how do I tell if That is the issue? What the heck is the One Way assembly anyway?? How do I get at it and tell if it isn't right? Thanks. I hope you are one of the rare guys who actually answers some comments/questions. ty
Got the same bike and same problem
our startermotor is not on the bottom but on top of the motorblok so easier to get to but i still need to know if i need to replace my starter or its something else
Is the odometer broken? it is showing 0 when you are moving
My favorite lot
Water bottle wasn't there Sunday .
Legit I doubt it was intentional litter, but if you go about 50 yards to the left it may as well be considered a landfill.
How strong is the stator? Wanting to setup a radiator fan.
Should absolutely handle the fan if you switch to an LED headlight.
Looks like it works a treat that does!! I’ve got the 2023 300rr and stock it’s mint
My 24 don’t have that antitheft device
Same here not in Canada just locking steering key
Its NOT a race , then he passes everyone!
Bike goes where the eyes go lol
Which hand guards did you end up using?
Ended up with the Enduro Engineering. Dealer had a set on sale and have them on all of our other bikes at the moment.
Invite me out for a compare with my Sherco 300 SE Factory Edition
Reach out to us on FB or IG and we will set that up!
Knarly vs Ibex any opinions??
Both great tires, Ibex does slightly better in wet and lasts a bit longer than the knarly. But does not hook up on rocks like the knarly does. Knarly is the ultra super soft gummy compound when you need to try and crawl up an oak tree. Gauntlet is the third sister to this equation and is the other portion of the venn diagram.
Great video man!! This is the type of riding I love at this point in my life. Just a fun day in the woods!!
I recommend installing the rtech frame guards. They provide protection to the subframe. My boot wore through mine😅
Seriously when was the last time anyone foweld a plug on anything newer than a 2010 model? If you’re fowling plugs your bike is so poorly tuned you should not be allowed to ride. My 23 300 has a removable exhaust port as well. These bikes are perfect for 90% of the public out of the box. Beyond excellent.
Good stuff.
Nice overview, didn't know about that removable exhaust header. It's cool that you're putting the oil injection on an RE. Have you ridden the 200RE? Looking for some comparison thoughts between that an the 300RE to help me decide between them this spring. Thx
Infact I have, the 200 to my riding stye feels closer to the power delivery rates closer to the 300 than they 250 does. It feels just as linear as the 300 just with less torque but no less predictable. IMO
I catch myself holding my breath all the time!
Whew I am glad i'm not the only one.
You use your middle finger for clutch control ? very unique .
Yes I use my middle so I can keep index ring pinky and thumb to retain a strong bite on the bars. I have my lever in towards the bar center to help facilitate that. Something I think may have come from old-school BMX days. I do often swap from middle to index when one gets tired as we do a lot of slipping.
After four Yamaha WR 450’s I have to say, I love my 2023 Beta 300RR! Best purchase decision I could have made. Your in-depth overview is one of the best on KZread. Great job.
Thank you! we came from the WR YZ world too, I loved the 426 esp but these beta's are soo smooth! Give us a follow as we are going to do a bunch more with these bikes!
Im a first beta bike owner and can't believe how great it is to ride. Im new to the sport. If yamaha had an electric start on the 250x, i would've bought it, but it didn't. I wanted to buy a sherco 250 factory, but the dealer had a replica bike with some dudes name and number on it, so i couldn't. Tried to buy a beta 250re, but dealer mislabled a rr bike. So said to hell with it, I'll get a 2023 200re beta because that was the only race edition they had. Couldn't be happier. Everyone said the kyb suspension was stiff. Im with gear 195ish. Suspension is mint. Love it.
No, not a little bit of difference, a lot of difference to the Yamaha, Only Yamaha get the A kit.
You've been watching Morgan at Highland Cycle and he doesn't know what he's talking about, there just valved differently.
No, it's not just valving, it's the springs and the whole package. My mate has the Yamaha with KYB, I rode that many times and that set up is great. I bought a Beta RE with the alleged KYB, I ended up having to spent stupid $$ on them to get it right, and in the end, it wasn't much better than the previous set I had with WP. @@ephriamjudah1056
A-kit is not a stock suspension term. If you want an A-kit you have to pay for it through a pro level suspension tuner. The benefit is that the KYB is considered the best stock fork you can get. In stock form it’s better than most weekend guys have ever ridden. Go pay 1,500 for your A-kit tuning front and back. But most weekend guys don’t need that
The A-Kit is my terminology...What I meant was you don't get the same set up in Beta/Sherco etc, you get in Yamaha. I've riden all of them, and owned a beta RE, the Yamaha KYB set up is far superior in stock trim, the others are not much better than WP imho. @@utahdesertrider1806
I have an oil injector for sale off my 2023 RR 200 .
