    Awesome job Stephanie! Wow! You had Lyn St. James as your presenter which is beyond awesome! I was raised by my mom, and she gave me three of the things I love in life: Music, baseball and above all cars and auto racing. My mom told me stories of my dad's 52 Merc and street racing her 55 Crown Vic. I love seeing women succeeding in auto racing because of my mom. I remember watching Lyn St. James race Mustangs and being a Ford guy and rooting her on (while also thinking of my mom). I hope you do incredibly well and continue to inspire others!

    Probably the exact same as everyone other person in a car. 🙄🙄🙄. Hot, sweaty, where is the ac? Where is the radio? Well, more crashing. Danica Patrick anyone?? Slower reaction time. Logical thinking isn’t the female strong suit, so seeing an unorthodox race line probably won’t happen. 🤣🤣. FKN hate me cause I speak what is exactly going through Your head!!

    I had the skills but never a fair chance. If I didn't lose everything to my spine being damaged when I was a kid, I would have been racing at 16yo. My whole life I had just one dream, to become the best driver in the world. What I got was 20 years of courier work because the only skills I had were driving fast. That ended 2 years ago when I got rear ended by a truck. I was stopped at a red light and the lady in the truck was watching videos on her phone and nailed my car at 65mph. I was already walking with a cane due to back pain, now I'm in a wheelchair most days. I had to give up everything, moved back into my parent's basement, gave up driving because the bumps hammer the weak spots in my spine. My life is a waking nightmare, a personal hell and I just keep waking up to more pain and less things. Had to sell my birthday present to pay a vet bill on my cats.

    When I was young and dumb, this was my dream... I showed great skill at 4yo on 5hp go-karts, was drifting the dirt turns at 5 and at 8 yo I was having my friends time my laps at the local track and I was running just as quick as the street stock division! But in 6th grade my back started hurting and never stopped, my hope of driving a racecar died.... I'm 40 now.

    @@SCCAOfficial Appreciate your reply but the reason myself and others are asking these questions here is because there is NO information on their website. Koni GTS page is full of placeholder or generic information, searching for a specific car doesn't show Koni GTS as available for any vehicles yet, and no information is out there on spring rates/prices/launch dates. At SEMA it was mentioned that they would be launching in the first few months of 2024 and still no information. Not trying to complain or imply wrongdoing but there are a number of people like myself that have been waiting patiently for this product to become available that would appreciate some updates on when to expect sales/availability. Thanks.

    No possible way that Porsche weighs 4000 pounds. The dry weight on a 991.2 Cup Car is 2646 pounds. Look it up. You could squeeze 3 fat guys in the backseat and load cinderblocks in the frunk and still be under 3400. I'm sure SCCA makes them add weight (lead blocks), but that would be almost impossible to strap/ mount 1400 lbs inside a 911 chassis. I call BS on this !!

    How are the shocks adjusted? The main issue with koni sports on the Mk7 is having to remove them from the car entirely for adjustments.

  • @SCCAOfficial
    @SCCAOfficial2 ай бұрын

    That is certainly a common problem with many newer platforms. The adjustment for these are typical KONI style, with the adjustment at the top of the shock.

    @@SCCAOfficial Bummer. Total whiff, no wonder they didn't show it in the video.

  • @herbys53
    @herbys532 ай бұрын

    @@ngamber The rear shocks on GTS are externally adjustable. So you simply reach up there and turn it with a tool or pull the upper mount down (two 16mm bolts) and pull it down enough to get the tool on it. This is new for GTS as the rear Sports did require you to remove them to compress.

  • @ngamber

    @@herbys53 so you have to replace single-use hardware whenever you want to adjust it? terrible design.

  • @herbys53
    @herbys532 ай бұрын

    @@ngamber Again.... you dont need to pull it down , you can reach it while in the car. If you are concerned with a one time use bolt then you can replace it with other hardware. I can tell you that I do not replace these every time I do something on my two race cars (both VW's). Every bolt on those cars are one time use and the shock mount doesnt carry a load of the spring so there is just a need to hold it in place. But hey, you can have your own thoughts.
