    Thanks for your comment Bill. These things are quite amazing for us to hear today but they must have seemed quite astonishing for people to see and hear back in the day. The days before amplified music. These larger organs kicked out the sound louder than live musicians could have produced too! Equally enthralling would have been the electric lighting for people to marvel at, whilst at home all they would have experienced were candles and oil/gas lamps. The travelling fair must have been such a magical experience.

    Hi Foxy. I was looking out for you at Parham but by about 3-4pm I guessed you weren't able to make it, knowing that the last bus from the site would be leaving for Pulborough station at 4:30pm. Must admit I tired myself out there with all the walking around so many vehicles & exhibits. There were 4-5 organs there this time, but i spent far more time listening to the Marenghi as that was the only one playing the older more "original" tunes. I was expecting to see a second Marenghi [probably the one you saw last time when I didn't attend], but it wasn't there this time. I chose Sunday as the weather forecast looked better out of the two days though out of choice I try to pick a day for these events where it's not the last day. Anyway, hope to see you soon at another event. Above all though, take care of yourself. I wonder if you are still suffering the after effects of covid? It really did/does cause a severe increase in fatigue. Certainly knocked me out the first time when I felt totally drained of energy for quite a few weeks.

    I don't think I have suffered health effects of Covid David no I've not suffered a mental or health side effect of Covid for a long time now. I did have a mental side effect over one certain circumstance regarding something terrible that happened to what I was undertaking during Covid which took me time to get over which I fortunately eventually did but no what I had recently was not Covid related David no, do be assured on that. It was because of you like I said before but not opening up about it until earlier this year that because of the events you introduced me to David it helped me with eventually overcoming the loss of my late grandfather Edmund (1946-2020) as the Covid mess and several threesome times of national lockdowns simply didn't help with overcoming the loss itself and what had happened to what I was doing which got drastically messed up during Covid to the point where it didn't survive the Covid mess, then it didn't survive being an internship I was undertaking at the time of when Covid hit, like I said to you before it didn't survive the Covid mess after the third and unknowingly final implementation of national lockdowns endured and when it meant this this upset me greatly as the internship was my whole life to me and when it fell into the gutter beyond mine or anyone's control who undertook the internship course I was undertaking at the time it certainly caused me aswell as very possibly anyone undertaking it much overwhelmingly huge amounts of stress as one could expect. I didn't know what to do with myself in terms of my future career plans when the internship course fell into the ditch David, I am extremely sorry I took such a long time to open up about this with you David as I was very upset when this happened at the time. I couldn't really open up about it to anybody when it happened, I now can as I eventually and now look back on it and say 'there was nothing I could do about stopping the internship course I was undertaking from failing during the Covid mess and just move on and accept its happened' which did sadly take me time but in regard to that, you introducing me to the events I have now had the fortunate privilege of now knowing and got the pleasurable desire of attending generally annually, it really has helped me with not only really eventually overcoming the loss of my late grandfather Edmund (1946-2020) but helping me with overcoming overwhelming sadness and grief over something terrible that happened to me and aswell lots of other people in my age bracket or younger and possibly older during the Covid mess, it really has helped me with learning to not only take advantage of enjoying life but giving the incentivizing inclination with enjoying life once again post-Covid lockdowns David and I really cannot thank you enough for it, thankyou David. But I am extremely sorry I never said anything about it to you until later as it was very very personal to me at the time to fully open up at first. But on another vital nothing I can remember you telling me the health effect it had on you when you had Covid back in the very latterly part of 2019 before we even became remotely familiar of it. I can so imagine. Dear oh dear. You take care David and am still set for the Appledore Classic Car Show for the 21st July 2024 and of course the Worthing events for the 27th and 28th July 2024 and Tinkers Park for the 3rd August 2024 on expected and not the 4th now because I have got a family event to attend to on the 4th August 2024 but thought I would tell you otherwise. • @Wheels-Wheels-Wheels

    If the weather forecast is particularly bad then I would imagine some exhibitors may opt out on the day, particularly those that may be open topped without any weather protection. The more vulnerable cars you see here will much more than likely have soft tops or tonneau covers ready for action should the weather change. Even though they may get used in the rain it's unlikely that they would be daily use all weather cars, so aren't exposed to an excess of bad weather.

    David. I am so glad seeing your Broyle content. I sadly could not attend Broyle this year because I had to look after Benjamin the Rabbit on the day I was going to go and when I checked how to get to Broyle I suddenly realized and remembered that the Brighton and Hove bus route 28 no longer goes directly near to Broyle Showground where the Broyle Country Show generally takes place. Next year come 2025 I will be using a different transportation method as a means to get to Broyle Country Show I will probably go to Broyle via taxicab service come this time next year because of the bus service no longer serving the Broyle Upper Lodge Farm and all the rest of things but fortunately I am still up for Eastbourne Bus Rally 2024 on the other hand. All the best David 🙂. From Foxy 🙂.

    Sorry to read that you didn't make it after all. Is it right to say that the bus which used to go along the Broyle now turns right after Ringmer and heads down to Laughton & Hailsham instead? If that's the case then it should still be able to travel that far on the bus and take the 20-25 minute walk from Ringmer, perhaps? Not sure on the bus routes so you might have to correct me on that. There may be a limited service on Sunday, but it might be do-able on a Saturday possibly. Never-the-less, I hope you had a good time with the lovely rabbits. As the weather was looking good for Sunday I didn't go to the concert at Worthing on Sunday after all, but went off to the Bexhill 100 event which popped up on Facebook that morning! Small but pleasant gathering, so that made for a totally unplanned change of event. See you soon, probably at the Eastbourne bus gathering next Sunday. All the best for now.

    David my best friend 🙂. I am sorry I have taken a long time responding but after the rabbit duty was over I did look up once again directions to Upper Lodge Farm and there is another alternative bus stop to get off at and then take a roughly 20-25 minute walk from the bus stop to the event showground. Either I will do this alternative or take the taxicab alternative but will decide this nearing the time come Broyle 2025. Benjamin the Rabbit was ok but is missing his late companion, I'm so sorry to tell you of things David but Biscuits sadly died recently after being viciously attacked by a group of foxes going out hunting in the garden. I'm extremely sorry telling you of this. You take care David my best friend. All the best. From Foxy.

    Hi Dave, thank you for your comment. With a good show of cars and other exhibits I would expect more video coverage on here in general. Quite possibly it clashes with other events that other KZreadrs cover. Unfortunately Foxy missed it this year.

    Hi Dave, thanks for your comment. I have an additional DJI Action 3 in my collection now. Have to say the stabilisation is pretty good when walking around so it's well suited to that. Will of course continue to use the Sony when I need zoom, such as when following the vehicles around the arena from a single vantage point.

    The only question for the electric car, I would ask is: how long does it take to get out of one of these, and do you have to be stopped before you can make a hasty exit?

  • @Wheels-Wheels-Wheels
    @Wheels-Wheels-Wheels26 күн бұрын

    The Carver has two doors, one either side. The Microlino has one large front door. As with any car you can exit the vehicles in no more time that it takes to come to a halt and operate a door release. Thanks for your comment, I hope this answers your questions okay.

    Thanks for your comment Dave. In reality I doubt if that many would have gone back to London since there were options for the participants to continue to Paris and Geneva. The latter being far more appealing than a trip back to London I suspect!

Well done on hitting 765 subscribers today and I got through the Seaford Motorfest event and got my first video of it uploaded and later today should hopefully be getting my second and final video of it uploaded later today 🙂. Thanks Foxy. Must admit I wouldn't mind having either the Microlino or the Carver, they both look like fun. Glad to see that you made it to the Motorfest, though it seems many of the vehicles were leaving at the time you arrrived. What time did you get there? Some interesting stuff there never-the-less and I remember some of those vehicles from last year. Will of course look out for your part two very soon. Thanks to you my subscribers are increasing quite rapidly this seaon, so many many thanks indeed for that.

    Thank you for taking the time to comment on my video. It's great to visit events such as this as in a way they represent a trip back in time seeing and hearing all these old and historic vehicles. Tinkers Park has a character all of it's own. I am so pleased to have introduced Foxy to events such as this, and the classic cars shows etc, as they are not widely known by the general public.
