Racist (they don't think white people have a place in Hip Hop) 2. Simply doesn't like his style... which is fine (BUT you CANNOT deny his technical skill, sales, career run, accolades, producing talent, word play, and ability to hang with the best of the best - I don't LIKE listening to the Beatles, or Led Zeplin - it's not my style - but it is dumb as shit to say they aren't AMAZING at what they do... same with Taylor Swift (I hate her music... but she IS, IN FACT, a solid musician). 3. A bitter hater. Eminem is amongst the greatest selling musicians OF ALLL TIME, and THE greatest selling Hip Hop Artist OF ALLL TIME! It is NOT because he is WHITE (Vanilla Ice, MGK, Everlast, Mac Miller, Tom Mac Donald, etc.... they would ALLL be blowing shit up if it was because of skin tone... but instead, they have all been laughed at and attempted to be chased OUT of rap. Em has done it IN SPITE of his skin color... so I would say he has faced even bigger hurdles than any other rapper out there. Em isn't my favorite rapper... "favorite" for me is the one I enjoy listening to the most (which is JID, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick, and Cole) but he is, undisputededly the BEST there is. Numbers don't lie, sales don't lie. He is a fucking creative monster and I am sick of that man not getting his respect... especially when he is on tracks and BODIES other GREATS in the industry like Jay, Wayne, Kanye, Busta, Royce, Tech N9ne, Dre, Snoop... when you have songs being taught in Harvard music classes because of their meter, content and context, rhyme sequence, and sylabic mastery AS POETIC DEVICES [songs like- Best Friend, I am, Stan, Renegade, collapse, Lose Yourself, Homicide, Tone Deaf, Kill Shot, etc.... these have ALL been lectured on in Ivy League Schools because of the syllables, meter, arrangements, rhyme structure, contextual storytelling/allegory/huperbole/and onomatopoeia applications. And is PROVEN to be the most prolific, most technically diverse, and most complex artist when it comes ro playing with meter and sequence in his songs... and this is a consensus amongst the TOP poetic and creative writing professors from Harvars, Stanford, University of Miami (with Dr. Breed offering a PhD level course on contemporary prose and Eminem being THREE WEEKS of his course in direct comparison to poets and song writers over the last 400 years - arguing that Eminem has the most comprehensive collection of works that explore the most complex elements of writing anyone could produce), and at Columbia. Again, not to seem like I am worship the guy... I am not. He is MAYBE in my top 20... but he is UNDENIABLY the best at the craft...and none of this even addresses that he composes his own beats, produces, mixes, etc... not just for himself but for other artists as well. Give the man his fucking recognition and quit hatin!!!!
