True! Unfortunately there’s no debug menu for this version so I’d have to wait a while to let each day pass by so we can get cops/wights etc. That’s the main reason for it but I also built this in my current let’s play if you want to see an example of a horde on it! That version was a little incomplete though 😅 but it works!

Not in the console version unfortunately :( the only things we have is access to creative menu to spawn items but no zombies or anything like you can in PC. The best I can do is turn the day settings to like 10 minutes per day I think is the shortest?

Yeah man we’re lacking over here on console 😭😭 hopefully there’s more features when 1.0 comes to console but I know they for sure said no debug menu still 🙄 but hopefully more creative features would be nice for building tutorials like this haha

What seed are you playing on? If you aren't sure, it's what you named your game. It's case sensitive too where it has to be spelled exactly the way you named it, spaces included if any.

@@MeleeDamage15 Awesome, thank you! If you ever want to play on a new seed, I highly recommend playing on GreatWhiteNorth. It has 9 Traders which 4 of them aren't that far from one another, theres 10 Towns, 3 Hub Cities (1 Main Hub and 2 Mini Hub), there's a few Crossroads, a crap ton of underground bunkers, military bases, prisions, it's a really nice seed. Also, all of the roads are nice and not weird due to generation, and all of the Traders can be accessed by dirt roads off of the main roads. I've been playing on GreatWhiteNorth for a few years now, it's by far one of my favorite seeds to play on. With that said, I'm going to check out your seed to try something new just to play around on until the new console version releases in a few weeks. Are you excited for the 1.0 release on console?
I’ve heard that one is pretty good from I believe Jysen’s Gaming. He does a lot of world generation videos where he tells you all the stuff in the worlds. And nice man I hope you like it! It’s a tough one for sure as there’s lots of water and wastelands but I like the challenge! And yeah man two weeks to go and we should be playing 1.0 on console!

I don’t mind at all haha. I got this version on sale for like $5 so I haven’t spent a lot at all. And with the discount it’s gonna be like $34 so not bad for a new game. Been looking forward to it for a while now!

What abt disk version?
TFP confirmed only the digital version will get the discount unfortunately. I’m assuming because the purchase is saved to your account whereas a disk can be moved between people. That’s just my guess. Unfortunate for disc owners :(

If you plan on upgrading the wood sides. I suggest chopping it down and replacing with rebar frames. Or you will have to go through both levels on iron and the two more concrete. It’s a pain but resource wise much cheaper in the long run. Great horde night and base design.
Oh most definitely that was my plan. I’m not going through the upgrade path and waste iron 😭 this was just to have something done for the horde night. And thanks man! I was really hoping this design would work. I have some improvements to make for sure but hopefully the day 42 horde will be even better!!

I believe that’s the PC version. Cause you can buy a PC version of the game off the Xbox store but if you want the console one you have to get the one that says Console Edition which is only available for wishlist currently. Just confirmed that on Xbox

Im mind blown they are making console players pay for the game again. Maybe because I hate the new book system they implemented and have been crapping on TFPs since but Thats a load of garbage. They already didnt have console porting for years and now that they are ready theyre forcing you to buy it again thats insane.
Yeah it definitely does suck. But they’ve spent a lot of money working on a new console port so they unfortunately can’t give it away for free. I’m just glad they’re at least giving a discount 👌🏼
I mean its no different than what they have done for pc. They just put out updates over a long period of time. No difference just the wait in between. In reality paying for someone to do the porting is all theyre doing thats extra. They did updates and testing on pc now theyre porting to console. You shouldnt have to pay if we dont have to is my opinion. I think its kind of scummy and I dont even have to pay.
Well the original console port wasn’t them that did it. So they had to start a new console port from the ground up since they’re doing it themselves now. Totally different than pc. I’m no game design expert but I know it takes a lot of work and money. I’ll happily support them another $35-$40 to get the new console version imo :)
The people they had I cant remember which but either went out of business or walked out of their contract I think just a few months after coming to agreement.
It was Telltale games and yeah they went out of business in 2018. 2 years after the console version came out. And Telltale games had only updated the console version a handful of times before that.

Yeah it is a bit unfortunate that it can only run on the newer consoles. Unfortunately that’s becoming more of a trend with video games as we move further away from last gen
I would be but 25% while pc version gets theirs for free that’s kinda picking favorites. Also been playing the console version for 5 yrs got all the dlc at 40$ not including tax. Now I gotta buy it again but at a 25% discount. No that is I’ll wait a bit longer, i waited 2yrs for an update now they gotta wait two years for my money.
Understandable frustration. But just so you know, the console version originally was made by Telltale games who went bankrupt. The PC version was always The Fun Pimps’. They gave TTG rights to make a console port so they didn’t even make the console version originally. DLC included. When TTG went bankrupt they had to claw back just to get the rights back for that version. But even with that being said a whole other company made the console version so they had to start a new console port from the ground up over the last few years. So it would make sense for them to need to charge money since they spent a ton of money over the past few years developing a new console port with all the new updates. So I’ll take the 25% tbh at least it’s something :)

Creative mode should stay but no command features like spawning zombies, god mode, etc unfortunately…
Birds and cops would be a problem so not really for any horde.
No birds in this version :) and when upgraded to concrete/steel is what I meant for cops. Sorry for not clarifying :)

Same! It was in the Navezgane map in Diresville. Had no idea dogs spawned in all those cities on Navezgane and got killed so quick lol
