    I love when people show real estate and then don’t show the asking price 😂. And it doesn’t really matter. Between the interest rates, yearly taxes , income tax in that area is very high as well When you can buy a 40 acre property in rural California with a decent house on it, pay almost half in taxes and those properties are harder to sell so getting a loan is usually easier. Grow my own food create my own energy and instead of my money going towards bills and fees it can be all put back into building up my 40 acres. Planting orchards, and creating beautiful land Scapes. Or I could get sucked into buying into a place where I’m crammed in with my neighbors,trapped by a 30 year mortgage and my quality of life is sacrificed for modern conveniences that I don’t even use. I’d rather leave my kids a 40 acre property that supplies them food and resources. It’s a giant leg up. Specially in today society and the threat of AI putting 75-80% of the work force out of work. Even Doctors jobs are at risk to AI.

    Thank you for sharing your perspective! You raise some important points about the benefits of rural living and self-sustainability, especially in today’s changing world. While living on a large property with the ability to grow your own food and create your own energy has many advantages, some people still prefer the conveniences and community aspects of living in places like Rancho Mission Viejo. It’s all about personal preference and lifestyle choices. Some may value the amenities, schools, and social opportunities available in planned communities, while others, like you, may find fulfillment and security in a more self-sufficient, rural lifestyle. Regarding the asking price, we don’t mention it because the communities have different options to choose from, and depending on what you choose, the model price will fluctuate. Prices also change based on the market conditions . The choice between these different lifestyles ultimately depends on what aligns best with your values and long-term goals. Both options have unique benefits and can offer a fulfilling quality of life.

    Really? Today a 39-year-old man starts shooting at random cars in San Jacinto, California, killing a father of four. Julio Rodarte was arrested on suspicion of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder after firing off 30 shots & taking his clothes off. Great place to live?

    Thank you for your comment. I’m deeply saddened to hear about the tragic incident in San Jacinto, and my condolences go out to the families affected. Safety is a crucial factor when considering relocating to any city. While tragic events can occur, it’s important to also consider a city’s overall community, opportunities, and lifestyle. My goal is to provide a balanced view of various cities in California, helping people make informed decisions based on a wide range of factors. Let’s continue to hope for and work towards safer communities for everyone.

    Hi there! I understand your concerns about the cost, but California offers some unique economic benefits that might change your perspective. It has one of the most diverse economies in the U.S., spanning sectors like technology, entertainment, manufacturing, agriculture, and renewable energy. This diversity not only provides robust job opportunities but also helps buffer the state against economic downturns specific to one industry. Moreover, California is a leader in innovation and offers a dynamic business environment that supports startups and established enterprises alike. Every place has its pros and cons, and California is no exception.Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s true that the cost of living in California has increased significantly over the years, including real estate, utilities, food, and gasoline. However, there are still areas that can be more affordable than others, especially when considering factors like job opportunities, quality of life, and community amenities. The video explores options for moving to California on a budget, highlighting regions that might offer a balance between cost and lifestyle. If you have any specific questions or need more information, I’d be happy to help!

Every location has its pros and cons, and Santa Clarita has a lot to offer for those looking for a great place to live.

    Orange County is pathetically overpriced and if you live in irvine, that stepford groupthink nutter hovel, I feel sorry for you... As bad as it is, I would still rather live in OC than LA County - the racket and maintaining the softness in real estate value in California is unlike anywhere else in the country, because that crap started here first.... And the rentals are bolstering the softness in real estate prices because it's bolstering inventory - they have this thing down pat. It's a damn shame what Cali is doing

  • @RomanDoktorovich
    @RomanDoktorovichАй бұрын

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I understand your concerns about the cost of living and real estate market in Orange County. The high prices in areas like Irvine can indeed be challenging for many. However, it's also true that Orange County offers a unique lifestyle, with excellent schools, beautiful beaches, and a strong job market, which continues to attract people despite the costs. The dynamics between rental markets and real estate values are complex and indeed have a significant impact on affordability and inventory. It's a situation that's being closely watched and discussed by many. Thank you for adding to the conversation! If you have any specific questions or need more insights, feel free to reach out.

    The house looks very nice, but it's practically an arm's reach away from the neighbor's house, appears to have a very small lot (I'm guessing 6,000 sq ft lot), and has a view overlooking a street from the back yard. Oh dear, it doesn't even have a pool and hot tub for $1.4 million?

  • @RomanDoktorovich
    @RomanDoktorovichАй бұрын

    Thank you for your feedback! I understand your concerns. The lot size is actually approximately 8,750 square feet, providing more space than it might initially appear. Many new construction homes in California are built close to one another as part of a community design. The Tesoro Highlands community offers a range of amenities, including parks, trails, and nearby shopping and dining options. While this home doesn't have a pool or hot tub, the pricing reflects other premium features and the overall desirability of the area. This community offers different types of homes with prices starting from the mid-$700,000s up to $1.4 million, depending on the size. This particular home is one of the larger ones, close to 4,000 sq. ft. If you’re looking for specific amenities like a pool and hot tub, I’d be happy to help find a home that better fits your needs. Please let me know how I can assist further!

  • @kirkjohnson6638
    @kirkjohnson6638Ай бұрын

    @@RomanDoktorovich Thanks for the reply. I actually used to live in the Saugus portion of Santa Clarita but now live in Florida. I'm guessing that lot size includes the bank along the side and possibly one along the back as well. Having lived there, I know that Santa Clarita is quite nice, but it is also miserably hot and dry in the summer, so I'd generally expect people to demand pools and for $1.4 million in that area I'd expect a very nice one, probably with a waterfall feature. The house itself is truly beautiful. The only aspect of it that I wouldn't like is that it has some rather redundant areas that would basically just serve as rooms that get decorated and never used.

  • @RomanDoktorovich
    @RomanDoktorovichАй бұрын

    @@kirkjohnson6638 Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear from someone familiar with the Saugus area. You’re right about the lot size, it does include additional space along the side and back. Santa Clarita’s summers can indeed be quite hot and dry, making pools a popular feature. The house is indeed beautiful, and I understand your point about redundant spaces. Sometimes, these areas can be repurposed to add more functional value. In Santa Clarita, you can still find beautiful homes under the $1.4 million mark with great backyards and stunning pools. However, these homes are typically 10 to 15 + years old.

  • @kirkjohnson6638
    @kirkjohnson6638Ай бұрын

    @@RomanDoktorovich Perhaps I'm odd for thinking this, but I much prefer older homes. The one I had in Saugus was built in '78 and the owners who had it before me had the entire downstairs revamped with nice appliances, granite counters, custom maple cabinetry in the kitchen dining room and den, and more. I was only there for 3-1/2 years but made friends with my neighbors on both sides and enjoyed the friendliness of the whole neighborhood. I didn't have time to make many changes to the house, but ai did some landscaping scraped the popcorn ceilings in the three smaller bedrooms, stripped the wallpaper in one room and skim coated its walls, and repainted all the upstairs rooms. I had a beautiful lot that was around 10,700 sq. ft with a pool and hot tub and a spectacular backyard view out over the valley.

  • @RomanDoktorovich
    @RomanDoktorovichАй бұрын

    @@kirkjohnson6638 You’re definitely not alone in preferring older homes. They often come with a lot of character and history that newer homes might lack. Your former home in Saugus sounds wonderful, especially with all the updates and the beautiful lot. It’s great to hear that you made such good friends with your neighbors and enjoyed the community. The improvements you made, like landscaping and updating the interior, must have really enhanced the home’s charm. A 10,700 sq. ft. lot with a pool, hot tub, and a spectacular view over the valley sounds like a dream. While some people prefer the charm and history of older homes, others are drawn to newer homes because of the modern community features they offer, such as parks, playgrounds, and pools. There’s definitely something for everyone, depending on what you’re looking for in a home and neighborhood.

    😂😂😂humorously put! Regarding your views on real estate, you're bringing up a significant discussion. It's true, building your own home can sometimes offer cost savings and more control over the construction However, the feasibility of building vs. buying pre-built homes can vary greatly depending on local real estate markets, availability of land, and individual circumstances. It's always a good idea to weigh the pros and cons carefully, and consider both short-term costs and long-term value. Whether building or buying, the key is making informed decisions that align with one's budget, timeline, and values.

    As a 66 year resident of O.C let me tell you the real deal: If you aren't already a homeowner in the O.C.... you most likely never will be! Sad but true! My townhouse in Irvine, which I bought for $450K in 2015 is now, if you believe Redfin and Zillow, about $950K! For a 1,600 sf townhouse! My HOA is $500 @ month! My electric bill is somewhere between $150-$200 depending if I turn on the AC. Taxes? about 6K annually.............................. Is it worth it? That's the big question!! We have a good response from the Sheriff Dept. The community (I hate that word) seem's very involved. The HOA is on top of everything, the gardeners are here everyday! No homeless (yet). Well see how it goes!

Thanks for sharing your experience-it’s truly invaluable for anyone thinking about making O.C. their home.
