Not that I know but to be honest, townie outfits are just very weird. Especially if you play in a save for a long time 🥲 And for the save, I don’t plan on updating it no. We made it before snowy escape came out and since then EA has been working with simmers to make the lots which has hugely improved the quality of the builds. This, for me personally, removes the need to update the worlds. I also don’t have that amount of time to invest anymore 😅 I’m so happy to hear that you’re enjoying the challenge!! ❤️ And I’m definitely excited for the new pack, it will be the very first time I’ll get early access to a pack so that is pretty special 👏🏻😍

Wow, will be stealing so many tips from this!! Several months deep in my own save and had to double back to an older record of the save do ti a save error. I really like the idea of making a copy of the save for world-by-world test play as I feel like I am just lost in the sauce of building even with mostly doing renovations of buildings from the gallery. I have two spreadsheets currently, one is the worlds spreadsheet (for community lots and public buildings) the other is the families spreadsheet for skills/special interest/jobs/relationships etc. And a biography document. But this makes me think I should adjust a bit and instead of plowing through the checklist if the world spreadsheet and then the family spreadsheet, I instead do world by world. I agree on the NPC jobs thing, no matter what mod I use the game starts generating Sims. I have found some mods that prefer existing sims, but they often become too aggressive and jobs will end up unfilled or filled by sims I don’t want in those jobs and I hate that. So I have decided to literally ignore NPC existence until I get through all the housed/primary families I want to get placed. And I am happy with the base of things I care about. Gonna sub, I think your style of play lines up with my own in many areas.

I am a new cc user, I started to download cc because of this video😂 love this video!!!However, for all of the cc package i downloaded, they all showed on the cc menu list, but when i go to build mode, only some of the items showed up, some of them are missing, even they are from the same cc creator and from the same cc package. Is this normal, or does this happens to everyone?😢 or it’s because of the sims4 update, that i need to wait for creator to update their old package?

CC almost never needs to be updated so I’m guessing that is not it. Is it possible that you placed the cc into the folder as a ZIP file? You need to unpack it before you can use it otherwise the game won’t fully recognize the items. The creator of each individual cc item/pack will list on their website what packs you need for it to work. A lot of it is basegame compatible but there are some exceptions. As this video is simply a collection of creators and not my own creations I cannot tell you which packs you need for which exactly

I love that you talked about your play style when so many people rank packs they don’t talk about there personal bias in pack rankings. If you get deep into mods, Get to Work becomes a pretty critical pack as many mods use it. And I don’t think For Rent invaldates City Living in any way, to me City Living is a ‘need it’ because living in san Myshuno is so vastly different from all the suburban worlds, like an apartment in Willow Creek doesn’t hit the same. those high rise apartments and penthouse are a tottally different vibe than anything you can build with For Rent. Also the best Festivals are the San Myshuno feativals. I also like playing as a Sulani Native. So often island paradises get regulated to a space for foriegners to come in and exploit for vacation. I like that Island Living is the opposite of that. Which is funny, cause that is sooooo far from my personal life. But for me Sims is about playing all the lifestyles I probably can’t and will never live. Including a modern Native of a tropical island.

This problem is driving me crazy, with your solution its fixed, however in the basement, the camera angle is only from high above as if Im up on the floor above. I cant seem to get this fixed, any ideas? Ive build many basements before and not had this problem. I wonder how its triggered or how it is fixed.

Could it be that you’re pressing T on your keyboard to go into top view? Otherwise I don’t know what could be causing this issue to be honest 😅

@@RosannaTxt no, its the pool. According to google its a known problem with the pool. I had the pool in the garden and windowed in the basement. Then another basement below the basement and its buggy like crazy. BUT thats just the way it is. I removed the pool, problem solved.

I have a cat teenage boy hobo wizard that plays like a rags to riches he is a kleptomaniac and a perfectionist which are the bad things about him. Trying to survive is pretty tough if i wasn't granted simoleons for that new update for doing menial things.

Yeah I finally catch up with the series and i'm loving it. Great episode, Ro! I'm also playing the detective career with one of my sim and i'm enjoying it so much. I find it useful to give them the "Observant" trait from the reward trait, so they can istantly know all the trait the sim have as they introduce and when you have to arrest a suspect you will have a trait as a clue (like maybe "The suspect wears jeans/has brown hair/as the evil trait") so it's quicker to find the right suspect.

The builder of the police station you used has a YT channel and he’s made some really creative stuff. 👍🏼 I’ve only played the detective career once all the way through. I personally really like the Scientist career. With the layout of the Police precinct it’s probably going to be more challenging to get all your daily tasks done (in the beginning when you have to do fingerprints and mug shots anyways). May be good for story telling though . Sims can get promoted rather quickly otherwise. Wait till you have to go track someone down to give them a ticket! 😅 Hope you had a good weekend!

when you're in the crime scene click the ground (or your sim? not sure its been years since i played with this career) there should be an option to search for clues. nobody ever knows this so i feel its good to tell you lol. also all clues can be found in your sims notes app thingy

I didn't know about children meditating will train their emotional control, but it makes sense when thinking about it. Playing with the doctor set and getting a related moodlet during their related jobs later on is a nice little detail.

I know about the cheat, I even have UI cheats so I can just cheat by clicking in the need bar. But I like to play the game without cheating too much and this is a perfect middle way to help me but not cheat!

Then it’s most likely because you installed the mod wrong (unzipped, within too many folders etc). If that is really not the case make sure you have the latest version of the mod!

The builder of the police station you used has a YT channel and he’s made some really creative stuff. 👍🏼 I’ve only played the detective career once all the way through. I personally really like the Scientist career. With the layout of the Police precinct it’s probably going to be more challenging to get all your daily tasks done (in the beginning when you have to do fingerprints and mug shots anyways). May be good for story telling though . Sims can get promoted rather quickly otherwise. Wait till you have to go track someone down to give them a ticket! 😅 Hope you had a good weekend!

when you're in the crime scene click the ground (or your sim? not sure its been years since i played with this career) there should be an option to search for clues. nobody ever knows this so i feel its good to tell you lol. also all clues can be found in your sims notes app thingy

All of them are free and you can get all of them without joining patreon. Some are simply posted on patreon but they are not locked behind a paywall so the download link is just available through the patreon post which is public!

It depends on the amount of sims you have in the household! For every sim you get 10 simoleons 😊

I didn't know about children meditating will train their emotional control, but it makes sense when thinking about it. Playing with the doctor set and getting a related moodlet during their related jobs later on is a nice little detail.

I know about the cheat, I even have UI cheats so I can just cheat by clicking in the need bar. But I like to play the game without cheating too much and this is a perfect middle way to help me but not cheat!
@@RosannaTxtSame I see cheats mostly at setup tools for a family or save file, but once I start ACTUALLY playing I like using the in-game mechanics.

Then it’s most likely because you installed the mod wrong (unzipped, within too many folders etc). If that is really not the case make sure you have the latest version of the mod!
