I'm getting my second degree in communications because it was recommended by my college counselor. I'm trying to make the best of my time while I am on dialysis by going back to school but I feel like I am wasting my time majoring in communications. I've never met a single successful person who was a communications major so that's what worries me

Turning 30 this year but never finished my undergraduate degree. I am passionate about foreign language (I've learned 4, and speak 2 fluently). I want to create online videos and programs for people who want to learn English as a second language, and found your video after researching degrees that might help me accomplish that goal. Thank you for the great info!

The day before the SAT is crucial for ensuring that you're well-rested, focused, and prepared for the test ahead. Firstly, make sure to review any last-minute notes or concepts that you want to reinforce. However, try to avoid cramming or overloading yourself with new information, as this can lead to unnecessary stress. Instead, focus on activities that promote relaxation and mental clarity. Consider engaging in light exercise, such as going for a walk or practicing yoga, to relieve stress and boost your mood. Additionally, prioritize getting a good night's sleep to ensure that you're well-rested and alert on test day. In terms of logistics, double-check your testing materials and ensure that you have everything you need, including your admission ticket, photo ID, and electronic devices if taking the digital SAT. Plan your route to the test center ahead of time, taking into account any potential traffic or delays. While preparing for the SAT, you may have utilized study aids like LearnQ. LearnQ offers personalized study plans tailored to your unique learning style and goals, helping you make the most of your study time. With LearnQ's adaptive learning technology, you can pinpoint areas for improvement and access targeted lessons and practice materials to strengthen your skills. Furthermore, LearnQ provides real-time feedback and performance analytics, allowing you to track your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your study plan. By incorporating LearnQ into your SAT preparation routine, you can feel more confident and prepared for the test. In summary, the day before the SAT, focus on relaxation, review key concepts in moderation, and ensure that you have all necessary materials prepared. And remember, by utilizing resources like LearnQ to tailor your study plan and track your progress, you can approach test day with confidence and maximize your chances of success.

I was put on a wait list for the high school that I went to. My parents called to see where I was on the wait list and I was #1, and I think the reason for that is my parents attended. I don't remember how long I was on the wait list, and I did get into the school. I was one of a handful that applied to go there from the school I attended and was the only one that got in. This was 24 years ago.

I got my first degree in psychology, I thought I had a passion for it. I learned a little later that I enjoyed the social work aspect of the job. Now I am planning to attend university for my sociology undergraduate degree and then continue on to get my MSW! My journey is just starting and I am excited to finally be finding a path that I will enjoy.

I don’t think that it would necessarily have to hurt you to have a social science degree, you just need to be careful who you tell about it. I would possibly hire a psychology major but it would be suicidal to hire a woman’s studies or black studies major.

This guy is selling you $150k of debt for a useless degree. This is why so many people cry about student debt. Useless degrees. Sure there are jobs out there, but the supply of unemployed with a sociology degree is so large. That means lower wages if you can even find a job. Every one of the degrees he is pushing in his videos are the same useless type. Every spoiled naive liberal kid gets degrees like this. A dime a dozen without a market to support it. So go get your sociology degree then cry to the world about your student debt as if the world forced you into it. Look at how large these university endowments are. Princeton is 35 BILLION with a B! If the government didn't co sign these student loans, no bank in their right mind would let you borrow 150k to get a sociology degree because they know that it wont ever be paid back. With endowments like 35B, these universities should be the ones on the hook for all this student debt.

College today is not about education. Its about making money. Communications degree? Nope. Notice how this guy is making these videos about useless degrees instead of being in the market and earning it. Making youtube videos requires no degree. Selling BS does. This is why so many people are in student debt. Taking worthless degrees and not getting the career people like this promised you. I see another one of his videos in the side bar about a sociology degree...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
