Not sure that Rogue/Ninja are the only things in store... I think there is room for another magic job. Red Mage on the way, soon? Either way, super effing excited. I was a career THF in XI... And contrary to some comments, they could definitely DD. Ask Serket, Behemoth, Charibdys, etc. A true THF, makes the damage happen. As for NIN... Wholy crap! That's a bold step. Ninjutsu will have to be tightly watched, with XIV's system. It could wreck the tank game.

I was expecting the Ninja look more like Edge because many jobs come from ff4, im quite happy tho he looks more like Shadow from ff6

The NIN job looks awesome but those first few weeks are going to be crazy, every dungeon group is going to have a tank, healer and two nin/rogue.

Anyone has noticed about Crystal tower's theme as BGM ?
Very happy with rogue class/ ninja job.. just makes sense. Level rogue to 30 open the advanced job ninja. Awesome. Ninja being dps means samurai will be tank!

I have a feeling Samurai won't be the second Rogue job, though. My guess is it will be Thief maybe.

no they will branch the current classes into second advanced jobs maybe. If you watched the live e3 letter there is no thf. Rogue is thf, they said instead of making the class a thf class they felt rogue was a bit better then making a class and guild built around a common thf.

you did not watch the live letter. He explained why they chose to call the class rogue and not thf, and basically that thf is not worthy of having a guild because it is too basic being a thf. There will be no simple thf job. If you want a better explanation find the live letter if you can.
