So sick 😫 id love to get that but think im just gonna get the radian afterburner. I love the reviews man gun stuff is great to watch im addicted to gun content
@@charles17508 I personally think the ramjet/afterburner is a better, more versatile choice. Out of all the comped options I've tried, it reduces the most recoil for me. Although I have to think it's partially because you have a chuck of steel sticking out on the end of your muzzle, opposed to aluminum comps or nothing with ports. On top of the performance, you're able to use more parts and swap back to OEM with basically a barrel change. Threaded barrel comps suffer from all the same issues. Timing, set screws and some barrels and comps not playing well together sometimes. Maintenance is really nice and easy with the ramjet too opposed to others I've tried. And I'm OCD with cleaning and maintenance on my firearms. Aftermarket slides can sometimes be finicky but I really like this Arc Division one. They did quality work. The shorter profile slide does make a difference when carrying and it's been really reliable while adding some reduction in recoil. I appreciate the view and comment. Keep on educating yourself on this stuff, especially if you're making a large purchase. I personally like watching independent, non sponsored content to get the least biased opinions where sponsored content has skin in the game. Those creators wouldn't want to piss off those giving them money, ammo or free products now. Just some food for thought.
@2amichaelj freaking got that right man .
He is a complete idiot
I tried the shield mags. There trash in my opinion. I had feeding problems. Now I strickly stay with stock factory mags.
Just happened upon this video and love it how quickly this guy just got dookied on by Radian lol.. "They changed it so they could save money.." Turns out they changed it because real shooter feedback said the original design was giving them problems so they fixed it and made it just as effective.
@@MantraDNG just remember companies like Olight claim the same things. They make changes not because of cost cutting measures or because they have actual issues with products but because of "real" customer feedback. I'm not saying Radian is lying but be aware that's marketing terminology.
@@MantraDNG and are you saying my feedback is any less? How many Ramjets have you purchased and how many rounds do you have out of them? I currently own 5. Two gen 1s and three gen 2s with about 15,000 round through them. My personal experience is that the whole carbon locking thing isn't any different between the two. I have noticed drifting in my taper pin however.
@2amichaelj Triggered more than those pistols you got.. relax buddy just pointing out assuming sure made an ass put of you. Enjoy your Gen 1s!
Now, in 2024- Free CRS! Free Justin and Matt!
I just did my first lower build and I’m just watching a ton of videos trying to get experience, what was the reason for not flipping the front take down pin into the detent groove right away? Because I did and now I’m wondering if imma have problems
Thank you so much for giving us a close look and explaining everything. So this could be pinned on standard AR15 lower with CMMG 9mm modified magazines without any special buffer, spring or trigger?
@@ns8548 yes. That would be the cheapest route if you're not trying to stock magazines as the magazines are like $40-$50 a piece. This is how I've been running it, on a mil spec lower with the CMMG AR15 9mm magazines. The radial delayed blowback is nice because you can run a standard 3oz buffer and not those 9oz 9mm ones. It's the softest shooting PCC I've shot in the AR platform.
Lol i just DM'ed them on instagram and got a response in like 10 minutes. people tend to be on their phones more than on the computer nowadays and replies are typically faster than you'd think
At the price they ask I'd be upset I'd want gen 1 for sure after seeing this
How much for the whole piece all together
BUILD????? lmaoff
Smh
Awesome, thorough video that points out the more important features like bolt group and charging handle manufacturing. Great job and thanks!
I have the shadow systems xr920 elite and was gonna get the radian ramjet afterburner but went with their compensator instead. Looks great shiots great and saved me 400
@@Hiddencomment007 how gay of you🤡
I don’t know much about moles but maybe you should get the one on your hand checked
Hey man nice build, one of the best i have seen. i really like it. i love the color too. screw toughs guys the say shit. they are pin heads anyway. Sweet build man! I use sharps bolts too.
@@ronniepier8193 This is still my favorite rifle and the 1st one I pick when training. It's been extremely reliable with no issues other than magazine and ammunition related malfunctions. Sharps bolts are really good. Even after years of using them, I still look for SRC BCGs in new builds. Thanks for the support brother.
Respect, but bro built the same gun like 6x’s in different colors. I ain’t mad, kinda jelly 😅
@@TooManyChoices1 the realest comment here. You ain't wrong. I guess I have a type with a few odd balls sprinkled in.
I just ordered one and was sweating bullets that I'd get a timed version. Thankfully, it came in yesterday, and it was a teardrop version. I will get another Ramjet, but for sure, look for another 1st gen.
Testing how long it takes you to reply. Timer starts now!

@@2amichaelj that’s fast
Whats the model number to the original? I was going to buy a couple. Thank yu
Well in my opinion a good gun doesn't need to rebuild and replace half of the components. Therefore I have Bul AXE Hatchet 😅
Not very 2A of you to tell others what they need
Right. More like 2 gay. @69Clay420
@@Hiddencomment007 yeah you definitely have a stock gun
Tough choice.
Shame on you for tading Canik for this glock....then you basically had to add aftermarket just to get it closer to a stock canik😂😂
The hack is buy the parker mountain machining BCD it is snug and sturdy and also has a slot cut so u can remove the Hammer pin without removing the BCD
Thanks. Good video. I must have missed what handguard you were using. Did you mention that?
Cat❤
That's the Diamond like finish on that lantac
Enjoyed the review! You mention it’s “one of” your favorite triggers. I don’t have time behind many different triggers and I’m building a Lingle (Scorpion) lower for a B&T APC9 Pro. If not this one, what are your other favorite PCC triggers?
Agreed
Made it look so easy
I must be a dolt. I didn't hear what wiggle the BAD level fixes.
@@nickmayhew9722 depending on your mil spec bolt catch, when you install the BAD lever, there has been a wiggle between the bolt catch and how the BAD lever clamps onto the bolt catch. Tolerances between bolt catches can vary. This video was to demonstrate how to stop the movement on the BAD lever to bolt catch. I've experienced a lot of movement when using the BAD lever. This fix allowed me to have a more solid feeling control with it. The BAD lever doesn't do anything but give you the ability to hold the bolt open or close it with a right handed grip using your right hand.
@@2amichaelj Thank you.
MR920.
He cleared this thing with the ATF prior to posting the video. Then, the ATF changed their mind.
Exactly what happens when you give an administrative agency the power to interpret shit as it sees fit on a whim.
We must remember that mac .v sog had to use 20 round mags in the car 15 and thats all they had for the most part , where the ak had standard 30 rounders ... love both , but the car15 if i had to choose lol
Love how everyone shit on him about the same thing, and it's still here for me to laugh at 11 months later😂
@@stevenhill5255 you won't be the last either
What if he was a Fed the whole time ? Can’t put that past the feds to make an undercover channel to get people to buy things to arrest them . If the fbi can Donnie Brasco there a chance this could have been the same . Now of course I’m not saying this as a fact just merely bringing it up as a possibility.
Amazing how .004 cents worth of steel is a machine gun lol what did we become???😂😂😂
Trolled himself into a cell.
It's supposed to be packaged exactly like they send it to the military despite it not being a military trigger but people dig that stuff.
@@Dan-di9jd it's strange though. I've purchased 8 Geissele triggers and 2 came in decent and nice packaging while some come like this. Not sure why they don't use one type of packaging. Plus it's supposed to be THE premium trigger brand.
@@2amichaelj I'm not sure how they do it too. I did get a SSA 2 years ago and it came in the nice box. But the SSA-X I got recently just came in a zip lock baggy.
If you think that is bad, don't ever buy an Elcan Specter DR. It comes in a cheap cardboard box that you buy from the dollar store.
Any noticeable difference between the two when you're shooting it?
@@MenOfArms I haven't noticed any difference in performance between the two. I have noticed a small difference when detail stripping, cleaning and assembly.
@@2amichaelj does the v2 rattle on G19 when attach? lol
I didn’t hear you mention the trigger. Where did you get it?
@@Ronin_Noir trigger is a Tyrant Designs CNC ITTS gen 5 trigger. They sell them a lot of places. I ordered it straight from Tyrant's website but you can find them cheaper at places like AR15discounts and Optics Planet. Not the best trigger on the market but it's pretty damn good for the price seeing you can find them for $50-$60 depending on the day. I used mine for about 1 full year with no reliability issues. The trigger has a nice feel and a decent break. It's definitely an improvement over OEM. This is probably the best budget trigger you can buy currently in my opinion. It is just the trigger shoe and you have to take off the OEM trigger shoe and install this one. This is one of the easier installs when it comes to gen 5 shoes. If you're looking for an entire trigger assembly with the trigger bar you're looking at $110+ for that. You just need a small punch pin, roll of tape and an actual few ounce hammer for the install.
@@2amichaelj Thank you! Because of your review, I’m going to purchase the same slide and trigger (silver instead of gold).
Awesome vid! Building my first (5.56) AR, after completing 2 AR-47 builds haha (both were the BCA gen 2 side charge). Bought a few Anderson stripped lowers and an Aero complete upper. Filling it in with a chrome lined Microbest BCG (with phosphate extractor), likely go with the Warhammer CH or CMMG (to match my Mk.47 Mutant) geissele SSA-E trigger, CTR stock and Suregrip pistol grip. Looking right at $1k for a solid build (excluding attachments/sights of course). The key is to wait for sales...wait to buy components around the holidays. I paid $150 for my SSAE trigger and $425 for my Aero complete upper with a CMV barrel. As far as backup irons I'll be getting Troy Industries iron sights. Handier than BCM, and usually on sale for $109 for rock solid front AND rear irons off of Primary Arms FYI you paid too much for that fluted BCA upper. They're commonly around $250...even cheaper around their holiday sales.
I remember seeing this video, and thinking he was an idiot, and that he was going to end up in prison. I quit watching his videos (because it was obvious he’s quite stupid) and then he went to prison. 😂 I’m no fan of the ATF or NFA, but holy crap dude, you posted a video telling people to order this to make a machine gun. Clear intent. There’s no arguing with that! No judge in the country would have let you go man!
Where did you order your buffer tube and stuff
5:22 your red dot is NOT calibrated & buy a pyramid trigger
@@tibora13 You're right. You don't calibrate red dots, you zero them and it's zeroed for 124 grain Critical Duty at 25 yards. I'm sure pyramid triggers are fine. I just personally don't like Lenny McGill and GlockStore. Overwatch Precision, Johnny Glocks, and Ranger Proof are my go to triggers out of the 14 that I've bought for gen 5s. Triggers are pretty subjective to the user.
@@2amichaelj I wish I could put a Glock 22 barrel on my Glock 23 but it won't work because of the lug difference😔
love the look of this slide, from the reviews i've seen, it doesn't beat a radian comp'd gun and for the price, its a tough pill to swallow. maybe at $500 i'd pick one up.
That trigger needs to go. Apex, BoogeyMan Customs, Overwatch Precision.
I have this trigger and it's awesome. Pair it with their brake and those two things will be the biggest improvement on your rifle.
