    He aligns significantly open and swings out. This can produce a fade or draw depending on the release. Steve Johnson teaches this with his Eureka Swing

    If you are hitting the brush swing behind the brush line , you move the brush line back in your Stan, right?

    I would agree with that statement. You basically want to brush at the ball or in front of the ball on the downswing. I've started doing this more and more lately as a practice swing. Especially with uneven lies like uphill and downhill. It has hugely improved my ball striking and chipping. It helps me with ball position so I stop hitting uneven lies fat or thin.

    The easiest way to compress the ball is to hit it hard with the club face.

    JMHO , transferring your weight to the front foot in the downswing will bring your shoulder forward towards the target. Hanging back on the back foot only produces a fat weak shot. Weight transfer is the key. This guy is a legend, always enjoyed watching him as well as the other greats.

    A very good tip for sure. As good of a golf analyst as he was a champion golfer. Miss his wit, golf knowledge and charm on those broadcasts. The best.

    Love Pete Cowan but the camera work is awful. Keeps missing key elements of Pete’s hands and the resulting shots. Very frustrating 😡
