The one and the only one Al Bowlly -- the voice of a lost age
Such a wonderful singer to have died so tragically during the blitz.
This is way better than today's music!
Today's "pop music" is just crap.
@@MyRuno it sure is!
Any version of guilty that was on the radio would be good! I can't seem to find any on KZread
Amazing playlist!
This guy was an absolute legend
This song needs to be in the next fallout game.
Travis scott afraid to mention this man
Travis Scott afraid to mention Sunny Gale
he had such a beautiful voice
a masterpiece of art. 10/10.
Al Bowlly has such an amazing voice, I just love this era of music. As John Lennon would say, “granny tunes”, I still adore these songs that were a hit before your mother was born.
If you like the 1940s and 50s music, you should listen to Sunny Gale, she is barely remembered but she had good music!
Complete confusion + Life changed its tune.
I did!
Al Bowlly, a legend. I often drink in the Chequers pub, 16 Duke Street, St James, SW1. Al Bowlly died at his flat in Dukes Court, 32 Duke Street in an air raid on 17th April 1941. Always think of him when I'm there. ❤
Птичка певчая, он родился чтобы радовать людей своими песнями их исполнением, и как жаль что он рано ушёл.
RIP Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He's a-roving up in heaven

I discovered al bowly twenty years ago,his music and voice makes me think how our country used to be pure class
Yes the same. You gotta check out WFUV archives of DJ Rich Conaty, RIP. Al was one of his favorites on his Big Broadcast show. Many of his Sunday evening programs are on the archives.
You’re British?
Well you certainly have class to like Al Bowly.
which country?
Love this song
Love painting to this song, well any Ray Noble from this era. Oh yes. 1933-36 yessir
Superb song from the 30's. Yes, who couldn't adore his voice! I prefer him to Crosby. Thank God he made recorded some 1,200 songs.
Yes, thank God indeed! Also thank God for His son Jesus Christ. He loves you very much
He was an original. In my opinion a musical genius. And should have been a legend at the same caliber as Sinatra, Elvis and Bing.
Beautiful.

Life changed its tune
After too many years in the shadows - even to a degree in his lifetime - he has found his place among the greats - Crosby, Nat King Cole, Sinatra, Conee Boswell, Tony Bennet, Ray Charle s, - it has taken a long time - but, there only was one Al Bowlly - and there was never a voice or turn of phrase like his
