  Was there a recent update for the 500+ to charge by USB C? Also in the USB C refresh does the newer smaller secondary tube count Xray or only counts Gama? I ordered from amazon, and I guess I got a new version.

  Yes, it should be same as old one, just the port to the device is changed from mini to type c. Also, it should be able to detect beta gamma and xray with both tubes.

  The 320s is equipped with Threshold Data Logging functionality. Additionally, it has a temperature sensor and 1MB of internal flash memory. In comparison, the 300s comes with 64KB of internal flash memory. The 320s features an auto-rotating screen, while the 300s does not.   @@gqtipsanded That would be great. There are several GQ models like the 300, 500, and 600 series and then subdivisions. No one seems to know exactly what is the difference between each and or usability and suitability for the user. I'm pretty sure if anyone can make a clear video delineating basic differences and spect of these, it will be a very welcomed clip for the community and a useful one for many clueless but potential buyers.

  @@SOVIET_NIET depending on what you're testing to. If you want to test Alpha particles, then this is the only GQ Geiger counter that detects Alpha. However, if you're a beginner user and want to have it for daily use, then you should check out our other models (and cost affordable)

  Just got the same meter. A small toothpick holder reads 2,000 cpm. Custard glass can be very hot. Tha plate is scary
