Did you test your old sensors with a multimeter to make sure that was a cause before replacing it?

The box holder is "universal" size. It works fine with the glove box you have....just pull the tang in the back out to push and hold the box forward

Lmao - now you need a C6 and a Silverado ZR2! Yeah checkout the Duramax playist. I did the HD hood swap, the Quadrasteer bed swap, 6 speed swap - and some basic engine bolt ons. After 13 years of ownership - I only had 2 issues with truck - a plugged transcooler that I replaced with a bigger aftermarket one. The other was a water pump that was seeping at 250,000 miles!
@bonecrrusherSS one day I'll definitely get a corvette! But that's good to hear that you had it so long with minimal issues. I'll definitely be going through that Playlist to see what mods to do. My SS is already done besides a better hood some day🤙🏽
I really like the power tool holder. Much easier to assemble on a table then drop in drawer. Put mine in a husky box so i had to cut an inch off the height. Best choice of any on the market.

Excellent video I offer a similar 6 speed conversion option for the 2001-2005 truck, where I can supply all the parts or the buyer can farm out the parts themselves and I supply a remapped TCM with vehicle specific maps for upgraded internals or modified engine applications. Not a one tune fits all also my software update uses all 6 forward gears in both Normal & Tow haul drive modes. you will retain you OD Lockout (4th locked) for 2003-2005 Vehicles. If you want to do a do it yourself application you can contact me and I can supply the TCM & Valve Body harness to your specific application 2006-2010 or 2011-2019 Allison 1000 transmissions. I support both 6.6 duramax and 8.1 votrec trucks and suvs.
Cool to see other products out there - I had zero issues with the kit from DuramaxTuner.

6.0 bored 10 thousandths over. Forged Rods Forged Pistons
When welding aluminum with a spool gun, you need to "push" through your weld, and you need to move faster than what you would compared to welding steel. You also need to give yourself around 3/8" to 1/2" gap between the tip of your spool gun and the metal that you're welding.

Thank you so much for this video, I was able to repair it myself. A little stubby socket wrench and flexible extender made the job much quicker, probably took 45 min total.

Probably won't be brand new - find one with Carbon Ceramics - and under 10k miles - I think that sounds good to me.
Sad to see it go but glad it sold quickly. I installed an LSA supercharger by myself on my 2015 SS by watching your video series. Appreciate all of the help your channel provided on that. Still have mine. I’m never selling it 😁
Glad to see those videos helped. That was the first big project that I documented from start to beginning on the channel. I hope to be adding an LT4 to my Silverado soon. I also had no idea that the SS would sell in an hour - that whole 12 hrs from listing to the car being gone was insane!
How do you cross reference the controls that will work in your car? I have a 2019 Blazer Premier I want to do this with but no idea where to even start to get that nub control.
This was found on the Chevy SS Facebook groups. I just grabbed the PN - bought it and installed it.
01-05 is a 5 speed 06 -19 is a six speed 20and newer is a ten speed Allison branded transmission 01-19 is a genuine Allison
Hopefully the newer branded ones have been resolved - seen a few failures on them.

I think it should be for the Duramax and the 8.1.
About how much longer can you drive with the C7 seats than the C6 seats? I can only last about two hours before I have to get out in my C6 and at least stretch a little bit. I've ridden and C7 but not for very long is about a 6 mile track and I did10 laps
I haven't had any back issues with these seats - but the comp seats are way more stiff then my c6 seats where.

The truck ships with the long factory antenna strapped to the back of the front passenger seat. It is installed when they do the pre delivery inspection.
Mine might have been taken off for shipping. I haven't seen it since I got the truck home.
I looking at your c6 the buckle pretensioner how did you remove that built in socket to get it bolted on the c7?
I think on the c6 seat I had to remove it using a pair of channel locks and it unscrewed. C7 seat I just bolted it in - it's been a few years since I had that torn apart.
I did this and now my whole car don’t wanna get power 🤦🏽♂️😂

I have the same center console wireless charger for 2014-2018 silverado and love it, going on 2.5 years and it works great.

Anyone figure out how to take out the stereo on this? Id love to be able to use my phone to play music from the speakers. Aux cord doesnt work with new iphones. And no blue tooth 👎
You could pull the drawers under it and maybe look up into how it's mounted.
@@bonecrrusherSS its riveted with a panel from one side. You would have to drill the rivets out from the top. Trying to avoid all that.
Is it really more quiet that normal fan of that size?
The 24" fan is pretty quiet. The 2 smaller ones I have from Air King are louder.
Does the sierra Denali 1500 model apply the same? 😅
If you got a 2019+ yes it will fit if you have the flexgate.

Might be a stupid question but did you have to disconnect the battery?
It's one 10mm bolt - so I would disconnect the negative terminal. Your messing with electrical - and you should.
Perfect, I encountered a similar problem last night on my rat rod with the C5 front sway bar hitting my D2600 air bags. Gonna make a bracket to space the sway bar down/forward. The shape of the front bushings are more of a PITA though.
Yeah I spaced the rear like a 1/4" or whatever my bracket thickness was.

Unless you take the dash out of the truck completely - there is no way to film in that tight of space.
I just want to put out there that you do not need the extra amplifier if you do not have Bose speakers. I went with the cheaper kicker set up, the one that does not come with the extra amplifier. The base is superb, in my opinion do not spend the extra money to run an extra amplifier and yes, the base is controllable from the head unit. You do not need a bass knob, a lot ofpeople don’t know that
Thanks for sharing! The knob was an option - then not an option - and now I hear it is an option again depending on what amp you get with your subwoofer. They've changed that small box 2 or 3 times now.
Are you using 110v or 220? I have the same machine only thing I have is 110v at my house
Both of my welders are on 220.
I have the same machine as well...mig welds excellent!!...even flux core...just ready to give the spool a try....I tell ya bud....u think u did bad...lmao....IL show ya mine...if I have a few mins to play today...IL keep ya posted
Did u have any problems with your transmission after this?
No none - it drove perfectly fine. I did have that shift lever issue as I mentioned in the video - so I did have to pull the valvebody back off. Adjust for that - and got lined properly the second time.
@@bonecrrusherSS yea I seen that how was your shift points? Were they like factory? Just with 6 gear at 58-60mph?
What amber leds do you have in your grill?
I got them from @nathanevan9085 - he sells 3D printed parts that snap into the OEM grill.
Nice work on welding up those spacers. Yeah I definitely would have been lazy and just used some wood blocks lol. Nice setup 👍
If the price wasn't so ridiculous for 2 spacers - I probably would have bought them. I had the tools, time, and some "skill" to fabricobble them together - and I think I had like under $30 in steel costs for the whole project - so not a bad cost. Plus any time you get to practice welding - that is not a bad thing.
@@bonecrrusherSS Heck yeah man. Yeah my welding skills are a 1 on a 1 to 10 lol. Got a lincoln and some 75/25. At that cost hell I may have to give it a try too if I wind up picking up the same box setup. Nice work again.
Does the hutch not come with a light bar?
No -that's a separate purchase.
