I just returned a few weeks ago. I have to get my characters 1490 and park them (doing brel g1-3) and wait for the 1580 honing nerf next month. Super behind :D
Just came back , should I hone past from 1460 or wait for july and see if they bring a hone boost?
Bring as many updates to this game as you want, don't you see that the game will die like this? Currently T4, engraving, etc etc etc. PROBLEM IS HOMEWORK! The player, who has to do chaos dungeons every day and 18 legion raids every week, can't stand it anymore.
I'm mainly coming back for the solo raids xD this games combat system is still one of the best in terms of MMOs

time to quit imo, they add more content more stuff to grind, instead of lowering the weekly raid load e.g. by making everything optional to have two week reset period etc.
Also forgetting doing 1640 content at 1640 t4 with t4 gems, lvl 70, and support boost power creep. The 1640 content even thaemine hm, behemoth, and echidna will be faceroll.
Remember to buy high and sell low.

I'm really afraid that they are going to split a already dying audience in the Global version with how they designed the transition in between T3 and T4. We are already struggling with gold income if they introduce the gold nerf in the west on top of gatekeeping T4 content behind 1650 or 1660, it's going to hurt if not kill the game here.
The thing is that getting to 1650 is hella easy now, express to 1600+ then you can work you wait to 1620 by doing dailies + solo raids then you get boosted to 1640 and do echidna adv honing for extra +10 ilvl

Just to push from 1600 to 1620 (and I just did it on my 4th alt yesterday), assuming you have a fully operative roster, you need 450k+ gold and at least 4k Oreha and every other materials assuming you have an average honing rate and don't start pitying pieces. That is not something you do quickly just by doing dailies (what ?) and solo raid content that are going to be nerf to oblivion gold wise (overall nerf + solo gold nerf that they announced). Based on that, in what world is it easy to push to 1620 ? And let's not talk how you get into any group on ilvl with a dps in this game.

Downgraded all my 10s to 9s except my surge dmg gem. Sold at 290k for dmg and 185k for cd

@@ylightloa to get as much value back from those 10s , dmg gems crashed to 250k rn. And content rn does not need full 10s when you are max transcendence. I rather sit on the gold then sit on gems I know will crash
So the play is buy all the lvl 10 CD gems, fuse them to t4 lvl 9 and sell them?

@@Maple7654 when they go down to 150k (NAE) maybe, the thing is you need to be 200% sure the conversion to t4 is random. idk if they are gonna make it so you keep the stat of the gem even after fusing them to a t4 gem

@@Maple7654 Fusing means to combine them. This means taking 3 T4 lvl.8 CD gems in this case and getting a random T4 lvl.9. For reference the first few numbers go in order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

If you are starting now, you have the Super Mokoko Express and the Tour of Arkesia for ez starting point and from that i recommend learning the raids by orden of release.. don't rush to endgame because there is no point for you to do Learn Valtan-Vykas-Kakul and Brel If you are gonna wait for S3 is EASIER 100% to play with so many things to help new players But i still recommend making a new character with the super mokoko now so you have more characters with good Item level when S3 launch
Wait for the changes and solo raids, you’ll have a much easier time. You can make a char now, prep it a little, but there’s so much good stuff coming for new players.

If you're mokoko, then you should start playing now before the Arkesia tour ends and get the full benefits of the mokoko express+path of thaemine honing buffs. That'll get you 1 char to 1600 with most of the pertinent horizontal content finished (takes 1-2 hours for arkesia tour). When T4 comes out, you'll get another super express to get another char to 1600. If you come back after T4, then you'll miss out on Arkesia tour and one 1600 char.
I'll be honest, I haven't been this hyped for the future of Lost Ark in a long time. I have 3 characters at 1620+ but probably can't wait for the possible trancendance nerfs to come to Eu/Na to avoid unnessary gatekeeping.
Ok so new gold sinks so far : Stones, Gems, Books, Gear, Accesories, on top of 600K gold u need to get to 1620. This is so good for new players... I dont know how delulu can u be LOA players.
Also I forgot to mention that new player have to deal with cards. Which was not fixed at all. Support issue is not solved also. Gold nerfs are also great for new players. Also fact that players with more chars on 1620 able to transfer to s3 will have huge advantage from start another great change for new players and gatekeeping. Gatekeeping on roster level will be even bigger since they are increasing it but surely LOA is saved. Cause they slapped S3 in ur face.
Are you delulu yourself or did you watch the video? New players don’t need rock or accesssories at the start. You get engraving support for all tier 3 characters for everyone. No need for books off the bat either. Are you yapping for the sake of yapping? New player goes and gets 5x3 immediately and goes to solo mode and farm tier 3 and move slowly with super mokoko toward tier 4. And who said lost ark is saved did you even click the right video? This is for veterans readyin for tier 4 bozo. Gold nerf isn’t even announced for the west yet. I swear people think just cherry picking and putting in one comment means anything. All you stated were all false and lies. Cutting a 6 point 6 point rock in tier 4 surely is a gold sink 😂 especially now when you can just cut rocks off the floor basically free af since they changed it so that a lot of old rocks can now work with the new ark passive system.

@@QuasimodoGrimoLOAON felt like a big win for me, but AGS had to follow up on elixir/transcendence fixes, fast tracked honing cost reduction, and fast track to T4. Instead AGS shit on their golden egg and announced a very boring gift. At this point in the game not a single gift they are giving will matter as elixirs are still unfixed and the same with transcendence. Another leggy selector…who cares and legendary engraving are cheap now and again, who cares.
There is no reason to rush honing to 1620 as said in the video. 1. Honing can be nerfed even further (believe in patch notes not LOA ON slides) 2. Mats can get get cheaper 3. We don’t know how far away gold nerfs are or even if they are coming. Rushing is risky so watch the road before you cross.

I think they did good job. Sucks for whales but good for new players. Now they can solo raid to learn patterns. Don't need to worry about accessories and engraving(ex, soulfirst, deadyeye takes forever to find right accessories). I think they did good job.

Solo content is good, no doubts about it, but as soon will want solo player raid with others, they will be gatekept as it is now, nothing from those issues was addressed. No LoS30 will be instareject in T4, same for, elixirs and very soon also transcendence... so basically nothing what is issue now was addressed. Noone gatekeep you for engravings, qualities, bracelets etc. that was never issue.
@@m.m85434 You can get cards and things from the solo raids so the solo player can enjoy their time until they are ready to play with others, that's how I see it at least but feel free to correct any information as I quit the game for awhile so somethings may have changed.
@@nekrovx you need over 1 year to get LoS 30, I know it, I got second roster with currently 3 fully raiding characters. I completed cards from vendors, got like 14 selectors, but I still need 11 cards. My roster is by now like 9 months old. I am gatekept daily for lack of LoS 30 even when I got above average gear in other aspects (gems, elixirs, etc.). Elixirs require lot of luck and knowledge, it can take months and plenty of gold and time to get somewhere. You as new player will miss one of those two things and you are gatekept and if we do not expect new players play solo for over 1 year, then these systems have to change.

To clarify spare lvl 10 gem is an example. Spare lvl 9 also applies somewhat. Spare means gems you are willing to let go or downgrade from. For example, you are near full or full lvl 10 now as Surge. You want to keep Surge 10 but CD gems downgrade to 9, then the spares are lvl 10 CD gems. As explained in the video, choosing to keep the gems into Tier 4 is an option, choosing to downgrade is an option, not having spares is also fine. I just wanted to cover all grounds.

I despise gacha games and I despise chore games. Lost Ark is the worst of both of those for an MMORPG. We need more games that respect your time like classic WoW specifically.

I'm returnee and i have characters that have item level for Akkan or Brelshaza hard But i'm not gonna queue for a Akkan or a Brel hard if i have not finish at least LoS 18 (I'm with DD30 atm) I don't like people wasting my time so i don't do it to others I'm doing Chaos Gates/Una's/Field Bosses/Valtan/Vykas and Brel 1-2 NM to farm some gold, practice the mechanics, master my characters and farming the cards You don't need to do the ENDGAME content if you are not prepared to do it (Even if the game give you a 1630 character with level 10 gems you are gonna SUCK ASS)

I dunno how it is now in NA. But i was on the cusp of new content and Vikas was our last clear. The bots completely destroyed this game's economy. It's a good system but unfortunately bots throwing the gold equalibrium out of whack made it so you either had to get stupid lucky or try to buy gold from the crystal shop which was absolutely awful against buying gold from the bots cause it was WAY cheaper. The huge influx of gold just destroyed the game for F2P players. Maybe it's better now but unfortunately i cannot play this game again unless they came out with a new server, required you to have a sub to play and made it so no gold could be bought via gems. even then who's to say the bots woulda just destroy the economy again.
while I do love playing online with others and I did quite enjoy the raiding experience(not really lmao pistoleer got bullied for a long time Q_Q) I believe that this will be good for the game in the long run as it will open the game up to people with trash internet(oklahoma city internet is dogshit trust me) I know there will be a lot of people that are mad but lets be real this just means less shitters will que up for raids so it should be a win/win when you actually think about it. time to reinstall lost ark >:)

As a new player, the motivation to continue playing is increasingly lost because I don't see anyone and I constantly see around 100 bots in one group moving at the same time. the game clearly welcomes bots with open arms
Thank you Zeals for the guide, I recently returned to the game and got the freebie Ancient gear they gave out but I didn't know what to choose, the last time I came back they had the Nightmare set for free from the Mokoko Express. I wanted to get Crit up and Crit DMG but again after being away from the game for so long I forgot a lot of stuff. But this guide has helped me remember so thank you very much for taking the time to make your spreadsheet! ^^

The game has absolutely amazing combat but it’s just difficult to enjoy it when the only endgame content is raiding, and there’s no alternatives for gearing. If there were more dungeon style content and alternative more casual content that was rewarding, the game could appeal to a larger audience. But for people who don’t like raiding or even just new players having to adjust to all these mechanics, it’s not easy to enjoy the game. Also, PvP could actually have potential in this game but it died. I enjoyed playing Lost Ark during its initial launch and hope it’s worth revisiting someday, especially as a solo player. As it currently stands, Lost Ark is too hardcore. Take FFXIV for example, the raids there are difficult, but a majority of the playerbase enjoy the game without raiding, because there’s enough to enjoy asides from it. Focusing more on casual content would help revitalize this game.
Have you ever thought of setting up mirrors and seeing what would happen? Even just one big one on the back wall might be fun to try and can you imagine two side wall mirrors as well in a perfect cube configuration?! Also, I’m sure you take all this sort of shit into account already, but I used to have a phone case that was sticky, which meant that you could stick it to a wall. Since camera position has to be measured basically perfectly in order for much of the illusion to take place it would be cool to have a spot on the wall. that you had pre-measured so you could just stick the camera to and know it’s always perfect. Much love, my friend. I really enjoy what you do!
Solo content is cool but deal with the fucking bots Jesus Christ your game is unplayable and your automated system is known to ban new players mistaking them for bots.
