    I just got a kit of professional scissors and can't wait for them to arrive! I've been doing my projects with old ones so they are kinda bad, plus I don't have a small one for details yet. I also would recommend some binder clips instead of the plastic ones. I often used those made of plastic but they brake so easily, and this made me question the cost-benefit of keeping purchasing them. Thank you for the video! I still have some items to get but still that won't stop me from doing your tutorials! Please keep doing them ❤😊

    Additional note: If you're using zipper by the yard (aside from the soft nylon type which can be sewn directly), you can finish the zipper ends with small fabric tabs before sewing, or remove some zipper teeth from the seam allowances to avoid too much bulk at the seam intersections.

    Omg I love it! I’m pretty new to sewing, so would you say this bag is easy or beginner friendly?

  • @SewinglyCarol
    @SewinglyCarol2 ай бұрын

    Thank you for your love! 😍 This bag might be a bit challenging for complete beginners! Some tips for making it more beginner-friendly: use fabrics that don't slip too much, stuff less filling inside, and hand-sew the tricky parts.

    Just a tip-instead of hand-stitching large stitches to make the ruffle you can use a basting stitch on your machine (just leave the ends long to pull)
