I think for the imperial magx deck, those lv5 imperial cards are for the combo with x antibody. cause you digivolve into x on attack from them and then end of attack gain memory. I did something similar with pail focused build for lv5s.

@@Risu_ I will tell you I don't edit videos on my end either and did a little creation but right now my life is cra-cray so I am taking a break. I will say, most people know what the cards effects do, I would recommend as soon as the tournament ends, reach out to the top players and ask them about the decks, and only talk heavy into decks you know well. Example, I am big on magna but not nume, I would spend more time on those decks and time yourself via an off camera timer for like a minute per discussion point.
People really need to start demanding Bandai do something. We NEED a banlist. Numemon NEEDS to be hit. Spoiler alert: It dosen't change in BT17; EX07 or BT18.

That imperial players list is such a compliment. He literally is running my exact same list I won with, card for card. If he sees this, great stuff Lawrence. Personally, I don’t think you need the 3 cost option. I think this deck when played right, is just favored into blue magnamon. 1 of is fine though.

I think there’s so much more room to experiment with nume but it feels like there’s a large if it ain’t broke don’t fix it mentality with the nume player base right now. I wanna see people flex it more, they’re gonna have to soon if it stays this strong, people WILL be packing hate.
Hi, hello! 11th place Dorbick Player here. You asked me to clarify the gameplan and here I am, I could yap about this deck for hours so I'll just try and write down my thoughts mostly cohesively. I've won 2 ulti cups before with this Dragon base + Dorbick + Ragna strategy, back when greymon X was legal at 4 with a Greymon engine. It's pretty clear that Greymon was a little too slow this format so I opted for another dragon deck and that made me pick up the Doru stuff for 3 reasons. Alot of good dragons, a bitch to remove the stack for some decks, and access to Metal Cannon. The goal is to make a full stack by turn 3-4, Ouryu is perfect for this since it cannot be deleted by effects, removes small bodies, and is very easy to make it 15k+ and a blocker. With this combination you can easily wall out decks like levia and Red Hybrid that need those deletion by effects to clear tour board. Once you're set up and Metal Cannon, the fun really begins. Using bt13 DoruGreymon, you can keep adding Bt7 Dorumons to the stack so long as you draw them, making your Ouryu a monster that can generate 2-4 memory per turn, letting you keep turn for the Dorbick into Ragna play more effectively, or alternatively stick whatever you need under at that point. Blocker? Stick a Haguru X. Need crowd control? Green Ginryu has you covered. Using all this, it's easy to make a 9+ source digimon, meaning that so long as it survives the first swing, you can Ragnaloard with 16 sources, taking the game after doing a singular check, making it great to dodge bombs. To answer the question, if veemon is stuck in security, you can often just make it work via a combination of boosts, Kosuke and bt7 Dorumons to drop Dorbick without passing turn and going into Ragnaloard manually. However both Ragnas or both Dorbicks being in security is an instascoop, you don't have the firepower to end games before decking out after 2+ metal Cannons. (Highlights of the tournament for me include a Ragnaloard with 20 sources to win against a player who kept recovering, and drawing roughly 30 cards in one turn by chaining all 3 metal cannons) Thanks for taking the time to cover my deck, if I can answer any specific deckbuild question I'd be happy to!

@@fatalcircuit007 Admittedly, I've been tracking a lot of Digimon content creators, and Digimon content has been trending negatively the past couple of days. Much of this could be attributed to the fact that Numemon and Magnamon X are still performing extremely well and there's no particular shift that indicates that this is going to change.

So the argument for the agumom. Is that it is searchable if you need to find other rookies.
Main reason I opted for Agumon is because its just on trait with Light Claw/Night Fang pretty much. I have tried other stuff but being on trait helps a lot with consistency. I also did hard slam it a decent amount, either first turn with Lunamon in raising, or using excess memory later in the game to start a potential second stack/find pieces, namely GraceNovamon itself if I didn't have him already against Magna X variants (very important, getting into GraceNovamon consistently was the reason I didn't lose to a single Magna X the whole day). It isn't the most ideal in-breeding digivolve but barely an issue imo. (Hi, I was the GraceNova player xD)

Lmao someone did find me. You have no idea how happy it made me hear you pronounce my name correctly (“e-Dán”) after hearing it get absolutely butchered before. Anyways, thanks for the shout! I hope seeing 3 creepymons on board vs Magna X didn’t scare you cause I saw you come in my match for like 4 seconds lol. I liked the list overall. Barba is definitely a name or something to pitch off blanc or other costs. Chose it over something like 7th cluster cause I prefer a body dying to gate and getting me value over the chance of cluster in security. Especially since it’s not as free of a pop as biting crush. Slinger is a meta call for nume matchup. Replaced barrage since barrage would always kill a lvl 4 instead of chikuri and it always felt bad and Merciful mode was primarily for the mirror to bottom deck ogudo or a leviamon so I can go for game but didn’t see the mirror all day. I put it in cause it also can help vs nume but never came up. That would probably be my only change for now and I’d replace it with a second ruin mode. Let me know if you have any more questions!
I am sad my tiebreakers were bad and out of the 9th-22nd place for the 7-2's I got 20th. I was running a one of Ragna Ace in numemon and it was the best card for the day. Truly great tech choice
My biggest question for Steve, being a tyrant player myself, were the stingmons due to not having the Promo Kuwagas, or do they just genuinely feel better than the Kuwagas?
I posted my list on my channel. I think the 3 cost dna option is just kinda ok. I played lighdra over togemogumon was because I was on 4 P Veemon. Really liked how my list felt in most matches. HPD crazy with old DM, just ok in this deck without it.
I also think the tyrant player should have won. I never not play to win, but the tournament should end at 1 undefeated imo.
100% always play to win, my complaints are towards bandai

Glad nume emerges as not the rick roll deck everyone thought it’d be. I hope Bandai doesn’t restrict it. Restrictions get old quick and just inadvertently making another deck the prime meta and we get just as annoyed by everyone playing it. This tournament was the first time I've watched on stream. Honestly, I didn't think it would be as fun as it was. You featured a lot of interesting decks in the early rounds, Dark Masters Mega Zoo being the highlight for me, but also we got to see some amazing competitive matches with Tyrant and Imperial. Keep up the good work and I'll try to be there again the next time.

The 6th place was me. To cover some points of the techs starting with shakkoumon The inherit is not once per turn so when magna x swings, it gets to minus 3k per swing. Laplace demon was great in the mirror match. Forces their magna to swing and block with your own. Or target their ace digimon to trigger overflow after blocking with magnax Davis and Ken was to play out your searchers and recycle them as well as starter magnamon if you wanted to re use them again. Also brings out another body to use with alliance if you don't have another digimon on board X antibody option can also be used on the lvl 4 magna and jump into magna x and restand mid swing

I’m the silphy player, it’s not a bad deck it does well into nume and yellow vaccine armour as well as other matchups
