  I kept one earlier and didn’t have a chance to eat it yet, I catch many salmon throughout the season. I try to release the ones That are not hooked bad. The clip attached to the side of the boat works well to revive them for a quick release back. Cheers and thanks for watching 🎣💪🤜🤛

  Lakers are bottom huggers so I try to be 10 feet from bottom.

  Ya the doors are not too tight the wire is on the side of the door. During down rigging, the doors are usually closed to avoid a tripping hazard. I hope this helps.

  On the tracker, Targa, I have doors on each side that I have run heavy gauge wire to the starter battery to power the Downrigger’s. When not in use I coil up the wires into the storage compartment on each side. Some people go to the extent ending installing a receptaclefor each downrigger, but I didn’t do that.
