  Thank you very much for posting the video. It gave me fond memories of my childhood. My family used to live in Escalante and we drove to Bacolod every weekend. I used to speak Ilongo and Cebuano - the town was bilingual. I do not recognize the roads anymore except that they seem a lot wider and better maintained now.. I also recognize that rotunda in Escalante. There used to be a gas station called Go Lieng across the plaza. My parent's were very good friends of the wife of one of the owners. I was 10 years old when we left for Canada in 1974. That was 50 years ago. Greetings from Northern Ontario.

  In America, where I'm from, some drum corps and marching bands often have their cymbal players hold out their cymbals near the snare drummers, and the snare drummers can play them as ride cymbals or as high-hats. I'm surprised none of the cymbal players I've seen in the Philippines so far have done that.

  Their uniforms remind me of those used by the Freelancers (from Sacramento, California, USA) in 1976 and 1977, only these are blue instead of gray.

  Those tritoms are undertuned, and the rightmost drum on the tritoms is falling off! I feel so sorry for the tritoms player.

  It's weird to see concert snare drums being marched in drum corps. The only other corps I know that did that was 1975 Phantom Regiment from Rockford, Illinois, USA.
