    this is a good video, but i will add that if you're unable to have goals (or have interests for that matter), then you should see a therapist. if you cannot afford one, you can try self therapy - look at the lost child family role. unfortunately, you have to first do trauma work before you can set goals.

    Hello fellow Missourian! You are doing great with your goals. Could you share the workout program for the pelvic floor? The rabbits are eating the flowers we planted so I feel you on your garden woes. We love our wild rabbit friends so I cannot be too upset. lol I LOVE the idea of tracking hours outside! Being outside more is something I have wanted to do more of but have not been doing except to work in my yard. However, yesterday evening I sat on the swing and read a fun book until the storms ran me inside. I enjoyed it so much!!! I am going to take your idea and track my hours in June. Thanks for that idea! Btw, I watched to the very end. 😁

    First, thanks so much for watching til the end!!! You’re the best and I appreciate your support so much! Yay for tracking time outdoors! It’s so eye opening especially when on some of the better days I have I can correlate it with more time outside. As for the rabbits, same, they’re so sweet but it’s so hard when they eat your stuff. And the program I did for pelvic floor was called XTEND Barre and it’s through the BODi platform! I’d be happy to send ya a link to a membership if you’re interested!🩷

    Good solid tips! Time bound can be difficult for me because I feel like things shift so much in my life. But I also have begun to slowly work on just pivoting but keeping to the core point of the goal. Still learning 😂 I love you bringing up the celebration aspect. I think that will definitely be something I work on going forward ❤

  • @leesalouise
    @leesalouise2 ай бұрын

    So glad the tips were helpful! I like to think of the time bound part as an added accountability piece to actually take action. Sometimes the actual deadline doesn’t matter and can be flexible. But by simply telling ourselves we’re going to get something done by the end of the day or the end of the week, it helps us become more accountable to actually doing it. 🩷

    Enjoyed the May video helps. Paul Tripp is excellent. I would caution you with Furtick. When you have time research the NAR/Word of Faith movement. Mike Winger recently did a 4 hour video on Benny Hinn. Same movement but Furtick is younger and appeals to the younger up and coming crowd. We were a part of a church in this movement when our children were younger. The children’s church director taught them to “give your toys away to get bigger more expensive toys”. It might sound awful to think of this give to get focus - but it was the same in the adult service. Sow a seed to get back 30, 60 or 100 fold. Very $$$ focused. Little to no scripture learning or sound doctrine being taught. Just a caution for you and your growing family.

  • @leesalouise

    Interesting perspective. I certainly have never gotten that vibe as both the sermons I’ve listened to and the book I’m currently reading are full of scripture and breaking that into everyday life situations. But I appreciate you caring enough to share. I’m sorry your family went through something like that.
