It’s an amazing course and I loved that it will forever be my first full marathon , I’ll see you in 25 too I’m running it this year and plan to next year when it becomes the next major , not an overly hilly course at all

Too hot!
It was a pretty hot day
I was supposed to do this one! But I pulled it in the last 2 weeks and my husband did it with little to no training - but he's a stubborn shit. Lol. I am doing it this year - but have gained 20kg in the last 2 years which has sucked... hoping to drop off the weight as my Dad is coming down with my uncle from Boston who will be doing it with me... nervous excited.
Haha sometimes stubbornness is a great motivation, It’s going to be an even bigger year this year and I’m so excited to run it again, and all the finishers will get an automatic entry when they become a major and how good is that!
@@Flyingdave88 that's great! I'll definitely be around the 6+ time frame... my first race official being 6:01:something and I'm about 20kg heavier now. So we'll see how we go! It's all about finishing! Maybe see you out there!! xx
@@saragoescrazy oh this was my first offical full marathon and it took me 6hrs20 thanks to that heat wave haha
@@Flyingdave88 my first I did back in 2020 (completely on my own in my local streets) and the following one I ran the first half and power walked the second half (run shellharbour) I was well and truly the last person there. Lol. I'm looking forward to not finishing last, even if it is 7 hrs!

I’m so glad I’ve been able to keep that inspiring feeling going ! I was just so happy to finished under the cut off time :) to me that’s a win! It’s the same medal as everyone else isn’t it , You’ll do great in your race too as your putting that training in! Let me know how it goes in two months

Haha thanks I try 🤣, I’ve signed up for the full marathon this time around after I was able to finish the Sydney full marathon last month so I know I can run the distance I just need to work on the time haha lots more training ahead 💪🏃♂️

So tiring but so worth it ! And it sure is ! Zinger fillet between two fresh off the conveyor belt Krispy Kreme doughnuts ! Highly recommend

I'm doing my 1st Half-marathon on October 1st.. As a slow and heavy runner, I'm looking to finish around 3hr 20mins
You’ll smash it! It’s such a big mental game , be prepared to push yourself but also enjoy the day as you have trained hard for the day so don’t forget when you feel the pain just smile it’s a simple trick to keep you going

@@divinelyautistic ahh ok then I shall say this , remember your not in competition with Anyone else around you on race day , your running for you so whatever you do on the day you are doing it for yourself so be proud of yourself , side note as it’s your first half marathon then no matter when you cross the finish line it’s a personal best time 💪 which half marathon is it ?

how many hours on the flight it’s kind a massive point people won’t to know ??
6hrs is the average time , depending on time of the year and how strong the jetsteams are can be as quick as 5hrs and as long as 7hrs

I am so jealous as Tasmania is one of those places that I have just got to visit! Actually had the opportunity to move and teach there many years ago, but family health issues kept me closer to home. Hi Bruce and Otis 👋 so glad you dropped by and enjoyed the video, I’m currently the next part of this Tasmania trip which should go up in the next few days if I can fit it in around work haha, it’s a stunning place and we would love to buy a farm down here and do the farm life but for now happy to travel it, hopefully the family health issues get better to at least allow you to come visit some day ☺️

That train reminds me of my first train trip ever from sydney to yass back in the day. Back then everyone could smoke and carriages full of smoke, card playing & heaps of beers flowing by a group of italian dam workers going to burrijuck dam to work. Great bunch of old fellas that made the trip feel like 30 minutes

Shit dude your alive. I have watched every clog from day one and moss them. So miss the Bali and thats how I found your channel when I there searching youtube. You both look great and so glad to see your both laughing. Enjoy as it looks great bud. Say hello to the missus for me even though we have never met. I so wanna do the skyrail now. I did the pong ping hong dong fong long?? One is hong kong up to the big budda i think 4 times and its was great. Scary when it stopped once for over an hour when it was like 45 degree and seriously thought we were going to die as we had no water thinking we would get more at the bottom of the return trip in the mall.
Haha sure am just couldn't travel as much due to covid and then for work even when i could fly we couldn't leave our hotel rooms due to restrictions, i love the gondola but Emma isn't a fan at all but i keep getting her to step inside them haha
